Friends, this book is SO GOOD ❤️ It comes out Sept 7 so preorder now and if you’re anything like me (middle aged, sleep deprived and generally forgetful) you won’t remember that you did and then it will show up like a fabulous gift to your future self in the fall! You will love this twisty, sharply written thriller, I promise. In the meantime, you should go check out @kimberlymccreight other books - she’s an incredible writer and I gobble up everything she puts out. Her last book, A GOOD MARRIAGE, came out last May and was one of the first books I was able to fully enjoy at the height of the pandemic. The first McCreight novel I read was in October last year, and here we are, less than year later, and I’m ready to ferociously start and finish her fourth novel! In this deliciously dark thriller, a ten year reunion between college friends in the Catskills turns out to be fueled by lies, betrayal, and murder. This quintet of friends has never quite recovered after losing a peer a decade ago, and this is the story of the lengths the other five friends will go to keep secrets safe. Who needs the Friends reunion on HBO Max with a story like this??

Seriously, though. If you haven’t read any of Kimberly McCreight’s novels, there’s never been a better time to immerse yourself in her salacious thrillers. Choose family drama in RECONSTRUCTING AMELIA, small town secrets in WHERE THEY FOUND HER, or a marriage turned bloody in A GOOD MARRIAGE. There’s something for everyone!
