Thanks for asking--my next book WHERE THEY FOUND HER will be out April 2015 and it has it's own page on Goodreads finally--so everyone go shelve it! And Reconstructing Amelia has been option by HBO and Nicole Kidman's Blossom Films and they are hard at work on bringing it to the screen. I, for one, will certainly be counting the minutes. (less)

I usually opt for bribing whether it's myself or my children. But in all seriousness, do you alternate who picks the books? Maybe pair them with food or other activities--I find that some of the very well-attended groups I go to do those things. Also, they alternate who picks the book and who hosts. That way at least that one person is invested. Also using the discussion questions and picking books that are a little polarizing can help--people like when there are differences of opinions. And you can always invite the author to join via Skype. I'm always happy to do it if my schedule allows and lots of other authors are too.(less)
