I rarely, but sometimes interrupt a fic I’m writing in favour of writing a different one. The risk is, for me, that I get distracted *really* easily, so the risk is that I’ll get stuck between the two stories and not be able to work on either one. That said… I’ve decided to put my current on hold briefly because I decided I needed to write a Christmas fic. The risk with this is that the whole 2020 thing has resulted in such a lag in inspiration that I’ve gotten really slow, so now I’m worried I won’t actually finish a Christmas fic in time for Christmas. That said… I’ve, um… started a Christmas fic. Lol. It’s 1200 words deep at this point. Wish me luck, lol.
