Actually, I solved this last one. “Pineapple” is a translation of the French word for a pine cone (which a pineapple admittedly resembles), pomme de pin. :)

Whoo, maybe there’s actually happened some progress on my struggle towards more realistic presentation. Or maybe I was just lucky this once.

Though Sherlock looks nothing like Sherlock, but maybe no-one will notice. Just keep your eyes on his pants, not his face, thankyou!

“Of Beren and Lúthien”

Today is Tolkien Reading Day, so it can’t have been coincidence that on this very day I came across the beautiful fanfic Vena Cava by SilentAuror which inspired the drawing above: John reading the Silmarillion to Sherlock as he’s recovering from his gunshot wound. I look forward to reading more from this author :).

This is beautiful! And I highly recommend that fic

Thanks, both of you!! How lovely to see this just randomly pop up on my dash again! I love this art ❤️❤️❤️

Oh man, you guys have the best suggestions!!!! Thank you to everyone who made one! I just realised that, plot-wise, it has to be Berlin after all. I was looking to add another location for diversity and whatnot, but - nope, it has to be Berlin. Thanks for playing, though!!!! <333333333

Ok, folks: I need a penultimate city for my two guys to go to in the novel before the final showdown in Prague. I’m just into location research now but can’t seem to make a decision on this one, so I’m asking for suggestions. Knowing my own contrary personality, I probably won’t take any of them, but if I do, I’ll tell you!! Lol. It can’t be Prague, Berlin, or Paris, or London. Somewhere in Europe, Eastern Europe, or possibly the Middle East, preferably. Go!

The only universe in which Donald Trump would be wearing a pink “Kindness” shirt is if he lost a $2 billion bet with Elon Musk and was forced at knifepoint to do it or something. And then he still wouldn’t do it, probably, and if he did he would lecture you about how he actually won the bet and how Elon Musk is a loser because his rockets have blown up more than they’ve been successful.

Also, Canada, your PM is cool.

He’s also the first to have the most diverse cabinet and completely gender equal. 50/50 men and women. “I wanted my Cabinet to look like Canada.”

Perhaps it’s insensitive to reblog this in the era of Trump, but… damn it, Justin is just too cool to not reblog! :)

Favourite Ben/Martin moments [2/2]

“I remember last year, when Sherlock was nominated for loads of Emmys, and Ben [Cumberbatch] and I were nominated too. I texted him: ‘I believe these are what’s called the good times.” - Martin

“He’s always doing kung fu on me. We’ll be standing around, and I won’t be paying any attention to him, and then he suddenly goes, ‘HYYYMMNNNN’ and his hand is right next to my windpipe.”   -
Benedict

I love them. I want more of this.
