Being a grown-up* is fucking weird. I was exhausted after work and drained from stupid drama with a friend, and I was working on the new fic and got so sleepy that I went to take a nap. Except then somehow I went on a cleaning rampage! I changed my bedding, started a load of laundry, unpacked the first vacuum I’ve ever bought in my life, set it up, and vacuumed my entire apartment - and guess what? I LIKED IT. I’ve never in my life enjoyed vacuuming before! What the hell is going on?! And now I’m going to go wash my dishes, transfer the laundry, and then make dinner. What is happening to me.
*defined as: popular myth suggesting something actually changes after a certain age in terms of one’s view of oneself. Not actually a thing.
