[ Karin says : ] I feel sorry as a German, that Benedict had to be subjected to this comedy show, posing as interviewers. They sent a regular participant of their show, who didn’t speak one word of English, to interview Benedict during the press junket at Soho House in Berlin on Wednesday. They had her repeat each question in English before going to Benedict, then she had to leave again for every new question.
They called it ‘ Chinese whispers with only one player ‘ …
Of course, by the time she re-entered the interview room, her questions were barely comprehensible.
Having said that, Benedict reacted by being very polite to her and even trying to speak a few words of German …
This is so ridiculous and so hilarious even if you don’t speak German!
