The constant conundrums of:
Am I impossible to please, or do I just have high standards?Am I a pain in the ass or just someone who cares a bit too much? Is this ground beef off, or am I just paranoid? Would it be better to get up and work out on too little sleep, or sleep a little more and not work out? If I email someone to gently ask about the thing she promised to start five months ago, am I being proactive or will she just think I’m being pushy and demanding? If I’m overly invested, is that a sign of my passion or my compulsion?And so forth…
Oh yay! My latest story, Isosceles, just reached 10,000 hits...
Oh yay! My latest story, Isosceles, just reached 10,000 hits today! Thank you so much for reading this one and giving it love to any of you who did! :) This is the 54th of my current 84 stories in this fandom to reach 10k hits! Some people raged at me as it was being posted (chapter by chapter, one day at a time), some people loved it as it was going, some folk prudently waited until it was finished, and some are still discovering it. Most people recognised that Corey Graham, the OMC celebrity movie star that Sherlock dates (coached by John) as Chris Evans, whom he was totally and openly based on (with a dash of Justin Hartley!), while a couple interestingly saw Chris Hemsworth, which I’m totally happy about, too! I had fun writing Corey, not to mention John’s intense jealousy, as well as the rising tensions around Baker Street as Sherlock and John got deeper and deeper in over their heads. I’m also vaguely planning a sequel to this at some point, but first I need to finish the current thing! (And then write a cookbook, ahhh!) Anyway, thanks for reading this one!
