THIS
YES!!! The love, the desire to have them, the personal need for fulfillment via reproducing, none of that factors into the equation of what parenting skills actually look like! Love is important - super important!! But it’s not the only thing. And the other two reasons are shaky.

DOES THE THOUGHT OF STANDING IN THIS FIELD UNDER THIS SKY TERRIFY YOU?

TELL IT TO THE TAGS
Wanna see it in 360? Try looking at the streetview here!
For what it’s worth, what I find amazing in these tags are not the uniformity of responses, but diversity of them.
Some people who grew up in places like this find it deeply comforting.
Some spend their childhoods longing for topography and move as soon as they can.
Some people come to flatlands for the first time and go, “Hm, yep.”
And some people see the sky and go “OKAY NNNNNNOOOOOPE.”
I understand the desire to move, love the flatlands, and find extreme joy in people wigging the fuck out at just a little endless void.
@ultramarineblues WE TALKED ABOUT THIS
I’m a mountain boy and this gives me great anxiety.
Looks like a wheat field!!! Normal.
W H A T IS HOLDING THE SKY UP
As a prairie person, I have an answer: your head. Lol. You feel the entire weight of the sky crushing down on you.
Jk, I love the prairies!

marsapartment:Everything about this snl skit absolutely...
Everything about this snl skit absolutely slaughters me. The flawless directing, the acting, the music. God the fact that every shot looks like it came from the poignant ending scene in Arrival fuckign murders me
The fact that the final “papyrus” is written in comic sans is just the *chef’s kiss*
