Anarchy in the UK?
The Hillsborough cover-up has shown the world just how corrupt the authorities are in the UK. Hillsborough brought with it awareness of other UK cover-ups. As a result, I came across this petition: Leah McGrath Goodman is an American investigative journalist, author and former UK resident who was banned from the UK after launching an investigation into the alleged mass abuse, torture and possible murder of children on the island of Jersey – a British Crown Dependency and one of the world’s leading offshore tax havens.
I had no idea the cover-up was that bad. What went on is gut-wrenching. No wonder she wrote an article with the title Anarchy in the UK?
Both of those cover-ups led to a debate last week, 18th September, in the British Parliament. This statement caught my eye:...Michael Mansfield [Hillsborough lawyer] has suggested that the country needs a “commission of truth” to discover cover-ups.
This is modern day Britain, not post-Apartheid South Africa! Anarchy in the UK? Hmm... it's looking that way, just as I predict in The Key? if the rule of law is not respected.

Reflections on V
A recent observation:
Another bit that stood out and made me think on your situation was this; power, ultimate power is not the elimination of your enemies but the elimination of doubt among your own people. V for Vendetta
If they do not doubt you, then you can do what you like. All you need is the confidence of the majority. That way those in the minority who speak out are hardly heard, their voices become stifled, muffled or distorted by the majority. Like you, you're a minority, a voice they are trying to stifle, to silence. They did that by taking your identity, but you cast doubt on them, and the more who read your words the more doubt you spread, and they lose ground. Every now and again there is a voice that stands out, who makes real change. Today they are known as pioneers of history, I do not need to name them, they are already in our heads. But no matter who you think of that made change, in their own time they were anything BUT pioneers. They were radicals, traitors, rebels, crazy or just simply a menace to society. And now you have to ask your readers who will they be in the end, the menace or the bystanders (society)?

Stat Support
The following comment to this recent article supports the 2000 figure I questioned in my book. "...between 1991 and 2011, 2000 people died in Police Custody, and not one Police Officer has been charged, not even with Neglect of Duty, it is unconceivable [sic] to think that all these people died on natural causes while in Police Custody"

Deja Vu
The Key? explains the role the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) plays in blocking justice. Again we have another example and again they are protecting the police. It is a scandal. The CPS are a significant factor in why impunity reigns supreme. The CPS are quite simply corrupt.

Game Over?
From you book it seems that the more complex the system in which they operate the more freedom they have to escape exposure and criticism.
The more layers the more levels of protection and opportunities to promote (lure) those that exhibit the desired qualities. The greater the number of groups, the greater the cumulative power. Eventually this leads to impunity: game over.

The Crucial Remedy
Hillsborough cover-up observation: But when there are well-founded suspicions of a cover-up by the authorities, the pure disclosure of the raw information can be the crucial remedy. This is the key point...when...he persuaded the Labour government to establish the panel in 2009.
Yet a year later, both the government and opposition worked together to stop public criticism. It happened while I was writing The Key? and forced anonymity upon my family.
Anonymity is derived from the Greek word ἀνωνυμία, anonymia, meaning "without a name." And that status has made disclosure of the raw information an almost impossible one, as intended.

The Truth Can Come Out
Hillsborough Cover-Up: The Truth Can Come Out
I wrote about the tragedy a year ago. Here are some extracts from my book:
Another unfounded pro-state story that found its way into the British media concerned the Hillsborough disaster in 1989. Ninety-six Liverpool football fans died as a result of the police losing control, but the media blamed the fans....Whatever the real reason, the Establishment covered up the truth. A few extracts from an article covering a 2011 Commons debate on the disaster give an indication of what went on:
The debate was sparked by 140,000 people signing an e-petition....The Labour MP [Steve Rotheram] attacked the “smears” and “establishment cover-up” which led to fans initially being blamed for the disaster....A “senior police officer and a Conservative MP” leaked stories to the press about the disaster, he said.
Mr Burnham [MP], speaking for the opposition, said...he had “private disappointments” that more had not been done to reveal the truth under the previous Labour government....
A few days later, Lord Falconer gave an interview on a BBC 4 programme...:
After the 1997 election, Labour set up a review of evidence that may have been withheld from the [original] 1989 Taylor inquiry. Reviewing judge Lord Justice Stuart-Smith found the new evidence added nothing to Lord Taylor's conclusions. Former Lord Chancellor Lord Falconer described the government's acceptance of his conclusion as “disastrous.”...“We accepted that. And that was a disastrous and wrong-headed decision. It made the families in the Hillsborough disaster feel after one establishment cover-up, here was another.”
I'm afraid cover-ups do occur. The truth would not have come out if it wasn't for the persistence of the victims' families. In particular, the e-petition triggered the debate which led to the truth. People-power does work. So, could I ask you to sign my petition and mention it to family and friends. I only need another 139,984.

The Demon
"It's a terrible mindset to have and the more I read the more I realize this isn't going to change, and if it does it will be fought the whole way, with all the power, money and corruption there is to make sure that change doesn't reach its goal."
I do propose some ways to tackle it. But impunity is a demon that is incredibly hard to destroy. The best weapon is the truth. Spread it to the masses and the mighty will fall. A variant of that caused the Arab Spring. Why do you think the authorities went to so much trouble to destroy evidence, deny justice, block my story and isolate me? Because my case, the Meyer case and the McCann's are all bound together to form a powerful truth... and a mighty weapon. But don't despair. As the last paragraph of the first chapter says:
For as bad as this organised, state-participating, convention-abusing Teutonic beast was, its actions were positively angelic in comparison to those of the demon that has, for centuries long, co-existed among us. That demon fears this story; it fears the truth and will risk everything to suppress it. However, such actions will only succeed in contributing to the scale of its ultimate demise.

The Corruption Cycle
While reading my book,The Key?, someone recently asked, How many more children and families will it take? The mindset that something extremely bad has to happen before any change can take place is ridiculous. Why does it have to go that far? Isn't families being torn apart and children whisked away bad enough?
To which I replied:
The real problem is that these family courts are a shambles and children are being whisked off all the time. Terrible decisions are being made.
What needs to happen is for a politician to stand up and shame the legal profession, justice departments and courts. That just isn't going to happen. Why?
Because that is one powerful group! The legal system could quite easily shame the politicians (I'm sure there are plenty of cover-ups to come out) and, more to the point, jail them.
Given that risk, why would a politician stick his/her neck out for an ordinary member of the public? Given those risks, why would a political party allow such an admirable candidate to become a member of their party, become a politician and provide him/her with the necessary platform that would expose their own seedy past? Corruption breeds corruption until impunity reigns supreme. It is a major problem in Britain and a devil to kick out. Put another way, Cameron would not be British Prime Minister if he outed cases like mine. Those that truly run this country would not let that happen. But he wouldn't even be in a position to lead his party if he showed sympathy towards the public in such matters. But a man who will cover up for the legal profession and the justice departments, now he can become a party leader.
So your point, "The mindset that something extremely bad has to happen before any change can take place is ridiculous" is of course true, but perhaps you are now learning what mindset we are dealing with: a seriously ruthless and corrupt one that is only interested in itself and the power base that rewards it. When the penny finally drops XXX, it is truly frightening.

Impunity Reigns Supreme
Someone recently said about my children, "they have not forgotten me." However, those special memories that should have been created, shared and cherished do not exist, neither for me nor my children. And those that inflicted that void continue to ply their trades unpunished:impunity reigns supreme
