This is interesting, but not the only interpretation of the Nine Realms. This chart omits Nornheim, land of the Norns, which appears prominently in Fates: Part V of I Bring the Fire … with my own spin of course.

Little sketch I did at lunch of Thor in a wagon of sorts (couldn’t look up reference), being pulled by one of his goats.

Completed illustration for I Bring the Fire. Loki by me, background by Sylvia Frost of Bookface designs. It will eventually make it onto the cover. In the series,Loki is loose in the modern world; and feeling right at home. :-) (Really, a God of Chaos would have to love modern Earth!)
You can pick up the first installment FREE at Amazon, iBooks, B&N, Kobo, GooglePlay and Smashwords. And the whole series is free to subscribers of Oyster and Scribd.

A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS
After looking back at my download stats for the past two weeks, I’ve noticed a cool picture on Tumblr gets as many downloads of my free first in series on iBooks, B&N, GooglePlay and Smashwords as listing in an ebook newsletter like Fussy Librarian or ReadCheaply. (It also gives more a more modest increase on Amazon.)
… as soon as I finish the seven covers for I Bring the Fire, my myth-modern Loki series, I’m going to start posting pictures for my sci-fi adventure!
Thanks for all the likes and reblogs everyone!

Kennings for Loki
A kenning is a compound expression in Old English and Old Norse poetry with metaphorical meaning, e.g., oar-steed = ship.
Here are my favorite Kennings for Loki:
Breaker of Worlds
Bringer of Gifts
Burden of Sigyn’s Arms
Father of Monsters
God of a Thousand Masks (hmmm … I think there was a movie based on this one)
Lie-Smith
Silver tongue
Sky-treader
Sky-walker
Hoenir’s friend
Beatrice and Loki have great fun with Kennings in I Bring the Fire Part I (Free on Amazon, iBooks, & B&N)
I’m going to reveal Bohdi’s name at the end of Warriors … it is a Hindi kenning that really ties the story together.
