Yoga
Yoga was lovely today – I made some headway on cleaning the kitchen / dining area. That’s where I do my yoga. One step at a time!

Child’s Play
I’m working on a light-bright art exhibit “Child’s Play” about the intersection of children and war. Thoughts? I’m painting canvasses black and have light bright pegs that I’ll illuminate from behind.

Meditation
Starting my 10pm meditation. My first 1800s Tennessee novella is going out to beta-readers – I’m looking forward to hearing their thoughts.

Ebook Publishing More Difficult
A great article for writers –
http://blog.smashwords.com/2014/11/ebook-publishing-gets-more-difficult.html
Good article – the part that resonated most with me was “With the glut of high-quality books, good books aren’t good enough anymore. Cheap books aren’t good enough (Smashwords publishes over 40,000 free ebooks). The books that reach the most readers are those that bring the reader to emotionally satisfying extremes. This holds true for all genre fiction and all non-fiction.”
It’s true. There are so many iffy books out there. To thrive and last in the long game, you need to polish your content so it’s the best it can be. So it shines.
Invest the time, and make a book that thrives for years.
On the other hand, don’t keep polishing and waiting for so long that you miss your window.

Get Your Book Written
According to data released by Bowker, the organization that tracks ISBNs, there were 458,564 self-published books in 2013. If you’re an author, now’s the time to strike!
