Presidential Primaries

We have staggered presidential primaries to assist less-well-funded candidates. It gives them a chance to build momentum and funding against special interests and billionaires. I get that. But can’t we rotate which states go first/last each time for equity? So the ‘later states’ don’t lose out on having options?

Yoga

I had a lovely yoga session today with Juliet the cat snoozing in the sunny window. Peaceful and calm. I need that focus – for the past week Chrome has been crashing more and more to the point that it’s become unusable. After reinstalling, rebooting, reinstalling, and disabling every app and extension, I am giving up and converting all my web activity to IE. It’s a substantial effort but I’ve run out of options. Deep breaths :). #Namaste

Evening meditation time

Evening meditation time. I attended our town meeting and then had dinner with my son. I’m grateful for each day. #namaste

Evening meditation time

Evening meditation time. Last night I folded origami celebrating the too-short life of a loved woman. Take time every day to say “I love you” to those your care for. Every day is precious. #namaste

Evening meditation time. I’m so happy I have my new yoga mat. It’s amazing how even a short routine helps with focus. #Namaste

new yoga mat

Hurrah! My new yoga mat has arrived to replace the one the glass table shattered onto. So happy! I got the same one as I had before. I love this mat. I’d had the previous one for 8 years.

Sleep Schedules

It’s 6:30am and I’m heading to bed. I got a lot done today! Well, yesterday. We’ll see what time I wake up. Normally I get 8-10 hrs :). I don’t know how some of you survive on less! I’m definitely not as quick and focused if I don’t get enough sleep. Have a great day, everyone!

Theory of Eating

My theory of eating is to avoid added sugar as well as starchy things. That’s pretty much it. And to eat in moderation.

What’s your theory?
