Julie on the Back Porch
I had all sorts of lists and plans for today. When I opened the back door Julie immediately scampered out. Not too shabby for a frail, elderly kitty. And so I put the rest aside and we went out and sat together for a while. #namaste

backyard yoga
I did some backyard yoga with Julie for a while, then had to come in to work. She’s unhappy being stuck inside again and is mrowling by the back door. Poor kitty. She’s definitely feeling better! #Namaste

yoga in the grass
Julie snoozing in the back yard. She really wanted to go outside, and there’s only a few warm days left to autumn, so I did some yoga in the grass alongside her. Now it’s time for me to catch up on a few art-related tasks. This flu-thing is really slowing me down. What are you up to today? #Namaste

Day Of The Dead
Oct 31, Nov 1, and Nov 2 are part of Day Of The Dead – a beautiful traditional Mexican celebration in memory of beloved ancestors. It is a time where family and friends share their recollections of the departed ones. The marigold is one symbol. Day of the Dead is celebrated by my Mexican friends – I imagine it’s a process we all might find gratitude for.

Happy Halloween everyone!
Happy Halloween everyone! Here’s a photo of me probably age 8 or so, in my ghost costume. My sis Jenn is below me in my Indian costume I loved.
This is when I was about 16 – I’m on the far left as a variant of Doctor Who :). We were casual about costumes back then!
Happy Halloween when I was 1 1/2 yrs old – I was a leopard! We had parakeets even back then :).

citizenchip by Wil Howitt
I just got in the first ever paperback copy of citizenchip by Wil Howitt. I made a handful of formatting fixes and reloaded it. It should be live tomorrow. In the meantime, here’s the Kindle version:

Happy Halloween everyone!
Happy Halloween everyone! I took a lovely walk with JulieCat – it’s a bit nippy out there so she mostly sat on my lap and watched the leaves. Now she’s resting by a fire while I work on books. I’ve got a LOT on my plate for today so I’ll try to get through it all!! What are you guys up to today? #namaste

Author Essential series
OK I am finally closing in on finalizing my Author Essential series. Book 4 on author signings and book 5 on twitter for authors are both out. Book 1 on writing / designing the book and book 2 on designing the cover are in final stages. That just leaves me to finish up with book 3 which is the step-by-step on self publishing. Progress!
… shoot – even having broken out the other books, my Self-Publishing book is still 500 pages long. I think I have to break it in half – one half on the actual self-publishing process and the other half on marketing the book.
