Wow, just heard from friend Pam that About.com has ceased to exist. I worked for them back when they were The Mining Company, and then About for many years. I was their Wine Guide. They’re splitting into separate pieces, like a health site, and hoping that lets some of the content survive. It shows how mercurial the web is.

Evening meditation time
Evening meditation time. I first tackled challenging personal projects today involving taxes & phones. I survived. I’m now editing a friend’s novel about how power corrupts – both figuratively and in the sense of controlling access to power grids. Fascinating work. #namaste
