Amazon Scammer Steals my Journaling Content

I continue to have challenges with Amazon scammers. I have an 11-book series “Journaling with Lisa Shea”. I began this series way back in 2014. The intro book for my series has nearly 500 reviews. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BT2YMPV1 A scammer, on July 1st 2023, published a new book calling it “Journaling with Lisa Shea”. That’s the exact

Amazon Author Central Promotes Porn but not Family-Friendly Content

I continue to have a challenge with Amazon’s Author Central program. This program is supposed to send regular updates to my ‘followers’ when I release new books. However, it seems the system only sends alerts out when pornographers write books using my name. The author central system does NOT send out alerts when I actually

Fixing the Amazon Word Section Break Import Bug

When you import a Word document into Amazon, Amazon’s import routine is buggy. If your Word document has a section break – a standard formatting unit – Word chokes on it and creates an extra hard return. You might not think that an extra hard return is a big deal, but Amazon’s quality team can

Amazon and Out-Of-Copyright Books

I have been so busy with other projects that I haven’t worked much on my fiction writing. I need to set aside time to do that. I have several out-of-copyright books I want to publish, but I am disheartened about how Amazon is now ‘hiding’ an author’s out-of-copyright book from results if it isn’t the

Why Sell Digital Versions of Artwork?

With musical works and with written works, there isn’t a core concept of an ‘original version’. When someone writes a book, they are expecting to create thousands of prints of it, selling their story to many readers. Similar, when someone writes a song, they are hoping to have millions of listeners buy and enjoy it.

Only three more days until MerMay begins! And my new watercolor tubes just came in in time from the UK! I’m so excited! Here’s the colors. I’ll post links to the videos in case you want to watch me testing them out. I think the mermaid tail should be Viridian – what do you think?

Warning about Commission-Requesting Scammers

Back in January 2023 on my Instagram account, after posting various watercolor paintings, I got a request from someone for a commission. The request read: “Where are you located I’ll like you to draw a picture of my son’s pet for him I went through your page and I think I just fell in love

Sensitive Toothpaste Thoughts

I use a non-SLS toothpaste because I’m sensitive to SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate). My mouth becomes sore after using SLS. SLS is a nasty chemical and tooth-wise the foaming is wholly unnecessary. I’ve heard from a number of dental assistants that it’s a marketing gimmick. I currently use Natean Sensitive – https://www.nateantoothpaste.com/nate... I did used
