"Sorensen's writing is steady, clear, and devoid of artifice." - The Roanoke Times

“Chris Sorensen is a gifted storyteller!” - Midwest Book Review

Chris Sorensen is a native of Richmond, VA. A high school counselor by profession, his passion is stories. He also loves naps, ice cream, watching cartoons with his kids, and making a fool of himself in public (according to his wife).

MAIDEN is his first YA novel and is an adventure, coming-of-age story loosely inspired by Joan of Arc. He also has two adult, inspirational novels in publication. THE GREATEST DISCOVERY was a regional favorite and won Book-of-the-Year for the Virginia College Stores Association (2003). The prequel, THE GREATEST CHOICE, followed in 2007.

I hope this is useful to other writers out there. I wanted to reach out to as many book bloggers/book reviewers as I could and compiled this list in June 2016. Since it is a Google doc, when I make changes it will continue to update. Note that it is not perfect, but you will find website links (click on the blog title) and basic contact information like email and site contact.

Haha - there are more of us around here than you might think at first (but we are still in the vast minority I would say);-) Glad to meet you! I saw you like to sing/write/perform - I am also a lover of music (but more of a lyricist - cant' sing worth a poo). Good friend of mine just put out his 2nd album. If you ever have any questions about it, PM me. Look forward to getting to know you!

Brandt Hey Chris, thanks for accepting the invite. It will be nice to know what other guys are reading in YA.
