Guess Who Will Be A Guest Panelist at MidSouthCon 35?!!!

MidSouthCon 35Memphis, Tenn.
Tyrone will be in his hometown of Memphis, Tenn. for MidSouthCon 35 as a guest panelist. The first two books of his novel series, S.O.L.A.D.™: Soldiers of Light Against Darkness™, will also be for sale.
Tyrone is tentatively scheduled to participate in four panels. On Friday, March 24, at 6 p.m., Tyrone will be on the panel "Supporting Characters" in Promenade 1 room. On Saturday,  March 25, at 4 p.m., Tyrone will be on the panel "Diversity vs. Tokenism" in the Ridgelake room. At 5 p.m., Tyrone will be on the panel "Character Building: It's Good For You", which will also be in the Rigdelake room. On Sunday, March 26, at 2 p.m., Tyrone will be on the panel "Making and Breaking Gender Roles in Spec Fic" in the Promenade 2 room.
Tyrone will also be selling and autographing copies of the first two novels in the S.O.L.A.D.™ novel series on Sunday, March 26, at 1 p.m. on Pro Row.
Admission for MidSouthCon 35 is $50 for the entire weekend, $25 for Friday only, $35 for Saturday only, $20 for Sunday only and prices for children 6  through 12 are half the adult prices. Children 5 and under get in free.

Use your God-given gifts for God's glory!

These photos is an AWESOME reminder for me of how AMAZING God is. 
Using the God-given gift of writing and having faith that God will bless me with what to write, I have written two novels (S.O.L.A.D.™: Soldiers of Light Against Darkness™, Book I of the Angelo™ & Angeline™ Chronicles and S.O.L.AD.™: It's Just the Beginning, Book II of the Angelo™ and Angeline™ Chronicles) and contributed to three other novels (With Great Power, The Talent Among Us Vol. XI: Enlightenment and The Talent Among Us Vol. XIV: Awakenings). 
I entered a short story in a competition last month and I'm working on two more short stories to enter in a contest by the end of this month. 
I'm also working on the next two novels in the S.O.L.A.D.™ series and working on my first screenplay. 
God has been so good and I intend to continue using this gift for His glory and to help others.

My beta readers said they loved the second book in the Soldiers of Light Against Darkness��� series so much that they can't wait for the third and fourth installments, which I am currently working on.

This book was a bit of a challenge to finish, especially with the passings of my dad and my wife's dad near the end of last year. But, with love and support from God, family and friends, Book II of S.O.L.A.D.��� has been completed.

Be Passionate and Never Give Up!

Here's how passionate I am about using the gifts God gave me:

On Monday, I walked around downtown Memphis, taking photos of locations that are mention in Book II of S.O.L.A.D.™. Mind you, it was cloudy, drizzling and today I'm a little weak and sore from the power-walking I did.



But, it was so worth it. I could see the story playing out in my mind as I walked from location to location. Even got a great idea for a tie-in to the novel and future novels in the S.O.L.A.D.™ series.



All of this also happened on the fourth anniversary of my first of three attempts to raise money on Kickstarter to publish the Book I of S.O.L.A.D.™. The Lord has brought me so far and I know I have more to do, but I thank Him for being there.

I also got to help out my family and spend time with them.

And this morning, even though I'm moving a little slowly, I'm entering corrections two of my trusted beta readers have for book II, designing the book cover, working on an interactive website for the novel, entering two contests and applying to be a panelist at an upcoming convention. I’m also planning to pay it forward by introducing the world, through social media, to talented people I have met over the past couple of years.
Time waits for no man and it would be a shame to sit on the gifts and talents God has given you.

Ask God today what you should do, pray and get to work as He goes before you and blesses the consistent steps you take daily.
