Guess Who's Going to be a Guest Author and Panelist at MidSouthCon 32?

Great news, everyone!!!

I was just informed of my tentative schedule for MidSouthCon 32 (Friday, March 21 through Sunday, March 23) in Memphis, Tenn.

I am tentatively scheduled to participate in two literary panels: on Saturday, March 22 at 1 p.m. (speaking about writing sequels to novels) and Sunday, March 23 at 11 a.m. (speaking about point of views in novels). 

I will also be selling and autographing copies of my first novel, S.O.L.A.D.™: Soldiers of Light Against Darkness™, on Saturday, March 22 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Admission for MidSouthCon 32 is $50 for the weekend for adults and $25 for children under the age of 12. For more about MidSouthCon 32, visit midsouthcon.org.

First book club meeting and sold out of first set of books!

Very thankful for the invite to talk with The African-American Book Club of Jackson on Tuesday night!

This was my first meeting with a book club and it was a great experience!!! I even got a blurb in The Jackson Sun | jacksonsun.com about the meeting with the book club!

Special thanks to my wife for taking photos and videos during the meeting! She's the greatest and her love and support has been without end!

Super Great Time At The Superman Celebration

WOW!!!

What a great birthday and  birthday weekend I had!

I really can't explain it but I will try in an upcoming, longer post!

I just wanted to tell everyone that I met that it was really nice to meet you and I will definitely keep in touch with you!

I've had so much fun talking about my novel and passing out business cards and postcards that I'm super exhausted. But, I really, really enjoyed myself!

Reflection: How Much is Your Dream Worth?

Reflecting on this year and came across a post I wrote in May, right before I released S.O.L.A.D.™ on Kindle. 

Wanted to share it with you and encourage you to never give up on your God-given dreams!





How much is your dream worth? Is it worth your blood, sweat & tears? Is it worth conquering your fears and facing the things within yourself that hold you back? Is it worth looking ridiculous to others as you pursue your God-given dreams?

These are questions I have had to ask myself daily as I took and continue to take steps to achieving those dreams.

So many things can come up against you. People say things or things come up that can discourage you if, and only if, you let them.

It's hard not to be discouraged. You believe in the dream God has given you so strongly that you don't understand why others can't see it and believe in it too.

But you have to believe and have faith in God that He will make everything come together and work at the right time.

So, back to my question. Is the dream worth it? All the trouble, the nights crying, the naysayers, etc?

The answer is yes, because a dream realized is so much better than a what if.

The dream in your heart won't just change your life. It will change the lives of others.

So don't give up. Your dream is definitely worth it.
