Visualize This
When Rosie suggested this simple exercise, Jean was eager to participate…especially when Rosie explained that visualization can help make a dream come true.
(Of course, if you’ve read the Jean and Rosie series, you know that attracting a good-looking man is not one of Jean’s problems. Keeping him once she gets him, well, that’s another story!)

FYI – Multitasking does not require a hyphen, but it’s okay to use one. I chose to use one in this comic because I thought it looked better. As for the comma before the word then? Well, I couldn’t find the answer by Googling. Does anyone know?

Love Hurts
This past week, a very special friend passed away. What she accomplished in her 49 years here was amazing. I will miss seeing her smiling face or getting a great big hug from her (she gave the best of hugs). For that reason, I am sad right now, although I know she will always hug my heart. Yes, sometimes love hurts.

Okay, how many people, besides myself, think Jean (character below on the left) looks like Wilma Flintstone?
Rosie (character on the right) is at a loss for words this week, but stay tuned because next week she’s going to have more to say on this subject.

FYI – Jean tends to be pessimistic and Rosie is usually optimistic. Despite their differences, they are best friends and the two main characters of my women’s fiction series – in Polyester Pajamas (Book 1), in Woolen Bikinis (Book 2) and in Leather Chaps (Book 3).

Happy Mother’s Day!
Sometimes because of distance or schedules, it’s impossible for grown kids to visit their mothers on this special day, so they call…at least, their moms hope they do.
