Hey gang, so the latest on the Sailor Moon Book (y’know, we really need to make sure we finalize the title so I have something to call it).

The book is going to drop on Saturday the 30th. I’m lining up some reviewers right now (and there’s a chance to get in on it) to help give people an idea of what’s in it from a reader’s viewpoint. Only six more days!

Reflections On Becoming A Consultant

So as many of you know, round about last year I decided to give the consulting thing a go – possibly permanent. I’d gotten tired of turnovers, layoffs, transformations, reorgs, politics, etc. I took a 5% pay cut – and a return to 40 hour weeks – and gave it a shot.

Sailor Moon Update: Oh Thank Goddess

Well the big announcement for the Sailor Moon book is we’re sort of done with the initial draft. However, let me qualify done:

We decided to make room for more interviews. So we’ve got more to integrate. We’re editing the heck out of it . . . well, Bonnie is, because . . . I’m doing research for the book. We debated how much is going to be used and the resulting choice was “enough for the book” and “to point people in the right direction”
