A Visual Concept Quick Sketch from Part Two of A Teddy Bear Tale – Tristan & Wilma in Biplane

As work continues on book two of A Teddy Bear Tale I thought it would be cool to show a quick sketch visual concept by Dan Nokes of Tristan and Wilma flying in a Biplane. Now were in this story and why they are in the biplane you will have to pick up the book to find out as we continue Tristan's journey.

The Internet helped me in my darkest hour and I promised I would start finding ways to pay it all forward. I ask you all to take a moment out of your day if you care about Artist rights and want to send a message that they cannot be trod upon lightly to read the petition linked below and sign it.

The petition is for Mr Fredrich the co-creator of Ghost Rider. Marvel have recently won a lawsuit awards them $17000, taking money does not have, but bars him from even mentioning he had anything to do with the characters creation. While I understand that work-for-hire means you have no rights or royalties for your work, it does not bar you from being associated with the work nor delete if from your work history. In short he got legally rolled, click the link below make your voice heard, believe that one person, that you can make a difference…

Quick Sketch Challenge – Tristan riding a Trike

Did you know that A Teddy Bear Tale Artist Dan Nokes runs a daily sketch challenge? Where everyday you can contact him and if he selects your sketch idea he will produce it for you? Over the last few months Dan has knocked out several Quick Sketches which you can check out here. Sharing a little news with you all… Could Tristan get animated?

Yes you read that right! There is a chance that Tristan could get animated and just how cool is that? To see our humble bear come to life as he protects his child from the Monsters under the bed would be awesome. How did this happen?

Over the last couple of weeks I've been exchanging emails with Toonz Entertainment an animation company based in India that has done several animated TV shows and a couple of DVD movies. You can check out there website by clicking here.

Now while I'm aware nothing may come from this, to have A Teddy Bear Tale looked at in this way is exciting. It is something I never considered when than those few words about an abandoned Teddy Bear drifted into my head and Dan sketched that evocative picture that birthed an entire illustrated book. If you like please lend you voice in support to get Tristan animated and let Toonz Entertainment know how cool it would be to see Tristan come to life by contacting them here. Fingers crossed, eh?

First Look – More images from the new Judge Dredd movie

More images have been floating around the internet for the new Judge Dredd movie, we get a better look at the Judges uniform and at Dredd played by Karl Urban; also featured is Judge Anderson played by Olivia Thirlby. While these images don't show the super-tech Mega-City One I like the gritty rundown civilization on the edge feel this movie is going for. It really does fit the image of Dredd very well. Marvel Films 2012 The Avengers Super Bowl XLVI Extended Commercial – Avengers Assemble!

Nice teaser trailer, lots of a flash bang action that promises some good on screen moments. A couple of thoughts, wish they bulked up the top of Cap's outfit so Chris Evans looks a little less like a bullet head and I liked the interaction between Stark and Loki at the end. In all looks like a promising Avengers movie.
