Audio: Virgin Islands pastor hounds gubernatorial candidate who won't genuflect to his anti-gay view

Delegate Donna Christensen is the Democratic candidate for Governor of the US Virgin Islands. Donna Christensen supports same-sex marriage.

Now here are seven minutes of an aggressively anti-gay pastor flogging the candidate (and fellow Christian) for her stance on human rights, even at one point (around 4:00) equating same-sex unions to a person marrying a dog or cat and at another point (6:15) suggesting same-sex marriage would be like him punching her in the face. And not only is the pastor...

Audio: James Dobson says gay kids are 'enticed' and 'trapped'

Freud actually had quite advanced views for his time, believing that homosexuality was a perfectly normal part of the human experience, arguing against penalizing gay people, and opposing efforts to "change" us. Famously so.

But James Dobson is never going to stray from his belief that we gay adults sit around an "recruit" young people to our evil lairs. Now the onetime big dog is coupling his diminishing bark with fake support from the aforementioned Sigmund:

Oh stop with the "just breaks my h...

When Gov Bobby Jindal (R) and Gov. Rick Perry (R) need a lift, they turn to the Benham brothers:

These Benham brothers:

-- Bemoaned "homosexuality and its agenda that is attacking the nation"

--Claims the Benham brothers' battle against LGBT rights is a battle against a "parallel kingdom run by Satan" that "seeks to rob kill and destroy"

-- Insists LGBT activists have an "agenda" that "seeks to capture the nation" and that is "evil, and wrong, and needs to be dealt with"

-- Suggests his fight agai...

No, I'm not kidding: NOM is pushing a *new* Regnerus study

Now that Mark Regnerus' incredibly flawed study on same-sex parenting (which really didn't study same-sex parenting at all) has been laughed out of multiple courts of law, torn apart by credible researchers everywhere, and throughly demolished for the far-right concocted spin that it is, the National Organization For Marriage has finally moved on from it. Moved on to—another Regnerus study with an anti-gay bent!

I'm not sharting you:

Erick Erickson claims pro-LGBT societies are suicidal; proves America's conservative movement is

Screen Shot 2014-08-08 At 3.57.20 PmIn a column where he accuses LGBT activists of using the tactics of infamous segregationist Bull Connor and argues that gay rights and Christianity can never be compatible, exceedingly anti-gay Fox News commentator Erick Erickson claims that a society that affirms LGBT rights is "a society bent on suicide":

This will not end well for any of us. Despite surveys designed to show the contrary, children tend to do best with mothers and fathers. A society that willfully undermines perpetuating itse...

Video: The curious case of Megyn Kelly's infatuation with Tony Perkins

I have a theory that Megyn Kelly caught in-house blowback from saying, on air on the day that the Supreme Court began hearing the historic marriage cases of 2013, that Family Research Council president Tony Perkins has no credible arguments against marriage equality. I think that the exceedingly anti-gay Perkins complained, and loudly, and that the network gave some sort of an order to put Perkins on air, often, on Kelly's top-rated show. I don't think she really wants him on there. Just my t...

Matt Barber's website smugly reassures anti-gay parents

In the down-is-up website that rabidly anti-gay activist Matt Barber operates, it's not vulnerable kids who need reassurance and a warm shoulder. No, no—it's the parents who feel that their gay children are broken and are blaming themselves:

Tiny tent: Tony Perkins versus gay Republicans who see themselves as equal

If any special interest group is harming the Republican party as it tries to find a path to the future, it's the Family Research Council. Tony Perkins and his staff are determined to alienate anyone who doesn't subscribe to their extreme views about wanting to export gays from the United States, claims that gay people are "pawns in the hand of their malevolent master...the devil," or any of the number of despicable claims that the FRC president himself has made about LGBT people. In a world t...
