Oh please. The only curses are the ones that FRC staffer safe surely muttering under their breath after a week where their inevitable loss has crystalized like never before.

Jim Garlow, other Prop 8 figures get out the vote for pro-LGBT Democrat; seriously

In another sign of the deep trouble the GOP is having with its quickly collapsing tent, a group of California conservatives, many of whom were prominent in the Prop 8 battle (Jim Garlow, Chris Clark, Charles LiMandri) have issued an open letter encouraging people to vote for pro-equality Democrat Scott Peters rather than openly gay Republican Carl DeMaio in the race for California's 52nd congressional district. Moreover, this band of anti-LGBT activists is calling on voters in Oregon and Mass...

Yesterday afternoon, amid a week where they were deprived on any happiness to put into a press release, the National Organization For Marriage posted this "encouraging" news:

Only thing? It was a complete and utter error on Kennedy's part. A SCOTUS spokesperson confirms:

Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg confirmed this mix-up Thursday, saying Kennedy's order issued a day earlier was an error that the justice corrected with a second order several hours later.

This weekend: Anti-gay American groups pretend their 'religious persecution' is akin to overseas conflicts, beheadings

The Family Research Council, American Family Association, Liberty Counsel, Concerned Women For America, Focus on the Family's Citizenlink arm, Catholic Vote, and other anti-equality organizations will team up this weekend to launch an effort to get like-minded evangelicals to the polls this November. And to sell it, they are yet again making light of actual battles and literal persecution in order to frame their supposed "religious persecution" here at home (which most often these days involv...

Video: Latvia Archbishop says gay relationships 'are destroying our human identity'; is 'not against homosexuals' (heavens no!)

How dare you think Archbishop Zbigņevs Stankevičs of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Riga, Latvia is anti-gay? As he tells LifeSiteNews, the Canadian outlet that regularly earns credence from groups like NOM, he just knows that gay relationships are destroying who we are as humans:

(*Note: In an earlier section he also calls homosexuality a "disorder")

Because if he was against us, he'd accuse our love of destroying the entire universe. Duh!

Chair Eastman teases NOM's (hilarious) plan for a constitutional convention

Screen Shot 2014-04-21 At 8.58.55 Pm
Last year I show you how the National Organization For Marriage has purchased a cache of domain names that spoke to possible plans to hold a convention related to marriage. Today, Chairman John Eastman puts some chatter to the constitutional convention idea:

John Eastman serves as chairman of the board at the National Organization for Marriage. He understands the frustration people are feeling.

"They need to let their elected representatives know that they're not going to tolerate this," says E...

States don't have right to enact marriage equality, says man whose state now has marriage equality (hooray!)

Matt Barber's home state of Virginia elected a pro-equality governor and attorney general, and now, thanks to a series of court actions, has marriage equality in place. But it's all fake, insists Matt. Right Wing Watch nabbed the clip:

Thankfully tangible realities don't need a Barber-branded battery before they are empowered.

**NOTE: An earlier version of this post included the wrong audio clip. Sorry about that!!!
