AFA versus Kellogg: They'rrrre irate!
The American Family Association can't sit by while a prominent American company accommodates its LGBT employees, especially when it's the most important meal of the day we're talking about! Which is why the rabidly anti-LGBT organization has made Kellogg and its Tony the Tiger the mascot the latest focus of its exclusionary ire:
[AFA]
So this holiday season, if you stumble upong your anti-gay uncle loudly accusing his bowl of Rice Krispies of snapping, crackling, and popping the gay agenda into...
Louisiana congressman and US Senate candidate apparently kissing Tony Perkins' negligent, discriminatory ring
Just a few days ago, far-right anti-LGBT activist, former Louisiana state senator, and current Family Research Council president Tony Perkins made a huge case about how he wouldn't support the candidacy of Republican congressman Bill Cassidy in his runoff election against incumbent Democratic US Senator Mary Landrieu. "A moderate," Perkins insisted of Cassidy.
But now Tony is changing his tune. And largely it's because Rep. Cassidy is making apparent strides to convince people like Tony that h...

Maggie Gallagher's admission by omission
Maggie Gallagher, the person who will forever be most associated with the 21st century's marriage inequality push, wrote a column for National Review Online titled "Why the Democrats Lost." Knowing Maggie, most everyone from every political corner would expect her to focus on marriage in the same way that the organization she founded, the National Organization For Marriage, has in the days since Tuesday's GOP-titling returns. But in a telling turn of events, Maggie doesn't mention marriage ev...
Head of TN's big pro-discrimination group shows how much of a game this is to people like him
This is how David Fowler, head of Tennessee's big anti-LGBT/pro-discrimination advocacy group, begins his assessment of yesterday's Sixth Circuit ruling, in which a pair of George W. Bush appointed judges irrational denied equality to millions of taxpayers in four states:
Yesterday Vince McMahon, head of the WWE wrestling empire, announced that the popular SmackDown wrestling event was moving to Thursday nights, and on the very same day, Justice Sutton of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals pro...

Read: #6th Circuit writes opinion that history will rightly and resoundingly mock; scathing dissent says as much
In a 2–1 decision written on the wrong side of history, Judges Deborah Cook and Jeffrey Sutton (both George W. Bush appointees) upheld marriage discrimination in four states (KY, MI, OH, TN). Judge Marty Daughtrey wrote a beautiful dissent. All is below:
14-1341 #184 6th Circuit Decision in Marriage Cases by Equality Case Files
I was told to expect this decision. And of course this is exactly what many on the pro-equality side wanted to happen, since now it's very likely the US Supreme Court w...
#ThrowbackThursday: One party insists midterm Senate flip is repudiation of superstar president
Just some perspective for both downtrodden Democrats and the emboldened Republicans who worship at the purportedly infallible altar of Reagan:

Watch: Ohio high school student tells classmates homosexuality is unnatural, worse than smoking, akin to NAMBLA
It's unclear whether anyone at Ohio's Howland High School presented a countering speech. But how would you feel if a student at your child's school was allowed to present this kind of dangerous speech, citing "stats" from the likes of Paul Cameron and the Family Research Council, without accountability or pushback from adults who should know better?

One of Colorado's new anti-LGBT lawmakers was too out there for even me to cover (And I cover *everybody*)
I have a list of anti-LGBT activists who are too extreme and fringe to write about. I used to write about most of them, but at some point I decided to focus in on only those who actually have some sort of impact in some way. Barring some unexpectedly newsworthy development, I tend to just ignore them and their nonsense.
Gordon "Dr. Chaps" Klingenschmitt is one such individual. I haven't mentioned him on this site since November of 2012 because he and his web videos are just that ludicrous. But...
