Head of HI's anti-gay coalition: Gay Rep. Jo Jordan is 'a hero to me'

Jim Hochberg has been condemning LGBT people for decades, spearheading multiple fights against equal rights in the Aloha State. That's because, according to him, homosexuality is like drug addiction and same-sex marriages will lead to legalized bestiality.

His new hero? An openly gay lawmaker, natch:

“[Rep. Jo Jordan, an openly gay Democrat] actually gets the fact that individuals who are in businesses related to wedding functions should not be forced to participate in same-sex marriages,” Hoch...

Gay activists are 'biggest bigots on the block' says man who wants us banned like trans fats, drugs

After defending yet another business that wanted to flout state nondiscrimination law and deny a lesbian couple of their wedding services precisely because the couple was made up of two women, the American Family Association's Bryan Fischer claims that we LGBT activists are the biggest bigots and bullies on the block. Clip is basically cued to the right spot:

Coming from the man who has pretty much mapped out a plan for eliminating LGBT people from every facet of existence. The real reason Br...

Pretending a photographer doing business with public is like Warhol making experimental art with his Factory pals

Check out this delicious spin. This is Alliance Defending Freedom attorney Jim Campbell talking about the New Mexico small business owner who wanted to discriminate against a pair of potential clients on the basis of their sexual orientations:

“Every artist must be free to create work that expresses what he or she believes and not be forced by the government to express opposing views,” he explained. “A government that can force anyone to promote messages against his or her will is a governmen...

Regnerus study's flaws are well documented; next up: its roots

This is huge:

In an opinion released today, a Florida state court judge ruled that the University of Central Florida must turn over records related to the publication of a debunked 2012 study conducted by Mark Regnerus that demonizes gay and lesbian parents. Regnerus’ research has been called into legal question not merely for its questionable results, but also because the study was underwritten by the Witherspoon Institute, an organization with a history of distinctly unscholarly anti-gay act...

Just another story about same-sex marriage—from 1944

Audio: Harry Jackson 'explains' his claim that LGBT rights = 'satanic'

Ya see, folks, prominent social conservative Harry Jackson isn't condemning gay people when he speaks about the "satanic strategy" that guides our "darkness." No, no–he just longs for the time when the law didn't "empower" us and our "promotion of evil."

Here, let him explain it to you in this cued-up clip:

This is what is so enraging about these anti-LGBT voices: their refusal to admit that they are, in fact, saying awful things about us. Not our "lifestyles" or our rights, but us. As people....

'Will the gentleman from History's Wrong Side please yield to Tolerance?' #ENDA

Will House Democrats be able to "shame" House Republicans into voting for the Employment NonDiscrimination Act? That's the hope and the plan, apparently:

House Democrats have a plan to advance a gay rights bill that Speaker John Boehner has already declared dead: shaming Republicans.

KEEP READING: On ENDA, Dems plan on playing the ‘shame’ card [Politico]

If it sounds far fetched to you, keep in mind that even U.S. Senators like Kelly Ayotte (R-NH), who ran as a staunchly anti-LGBT conservative b...

Audio: Focus on the Family tells trans kids they need help for 'very treatable disorder'

Speaking on the subject of the California law that safeguards transponder students while they are trying to learn in the state's public schools, Focus on the Family's resident "ex-gay," Jeff Johnston, says the following about trans children:

SOURCE: Keeping Kids Safe in California's Schools [Focus on the Family Citizenlink]

And let's be real: this is really what this whole anti-trans effort is all about. It's not about "protecting" kids, as this ignoble coalition (headed by NOM's Frank Schubert...

CWA on Obamacare: If you like your trans-bashing plan, you can keep it

They actually made the video four years ago, but nobody really noticed. So since Obamacare is back in the news and far-right conservatives are determined to be the thorn in the side of people receiving access to affordable health care (as Jesus would), the Concerned Women For America is reverting back to a truly bizarre piece of fear-mongering which suggests that the healthcare law will somehow give "special rights" to L,G,B, and especially T Americans.

This banner, linking to the vid, is curr...
