Dawn Pendleton is a new adult author who began her writing journey in New England with her husband and their pup, though she recently moved to Georgia and promptly became a Southern Belle (or so she likes to think). When she isn't staring at a blank page, willing the words to jump from her head to the screen, she's usually playing on her iPhone, reading a book, or taking pictures with her fancy camera (which she has no idea how to use).

Finding Charley (Full Circle #2) by Casey Peeler will releaseFebruary 18, 2014. Add Finding Charley (Full Circle #2) to your TBR on GoodreadsSynopsisOne bottle of Jack and the words “I’m sorry” are all it takes for Charley’s world to turn upside down… again. Charley has a decision to make. Does she sink or swim? After Dylan reminds Charley that he always has the upper hand, she decides it’s time break free. But how? She uses her past, present, and what she hopes to be her future to find her freedom. With the help of Cash Money and the Kluft Girls, she devises a plan to take down Dylan. Will she succeed, or will she find that she will never escape his hold? Once this plan is put in place, who will be by her side when it comes to an end? And will this plan include Jackalope Joe?[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCNnzs...] ExcerptI decide not to waste much time on my wardrobe. I grab my new jeans, a long-sleeved white tee, boots, and veto drying my hair by putting on my favorite camo ball cap. Once I’m ready, the girls and I grab a bite to eat and all go our separate ways. I crank up the radio and the heat in the Honda. It feels like minutes instead of an hour when I realize I’ve been lost in thought the majority of the way. Can we say dangerous? Note to self: focus while driving.I pop in our drunk mix cd that Caroline always plays in her room while we drink PJ. It’s a lot more comical to listen to while sober. Seriously, the country version of “Gin and Juice” and “The Monster” by Eminem? I can’t help but laugh. It doesn’t get any better when “Genie in a Bottle” by Christina Aguilera begins playing. What was she thinking? Oh, wait. She wasn’t thinking because she was drunk.I approach Grassy Pond, and nothing has changed since Thanksgiving. It’s still stoplight after stoplight. I can’t wait to hit that gravel road. I see the farm approaching and feel the butterflies within my stomach. For once, I’m excited and relieved to be home.Turning off the ignition, I see Blue running toward me. As soon as I’m out of the car, he attacks me. “Yeah, boy, I’ve missed you, too.” I rub behind his ears and then make my way to the house. There’s no need to hurry, because as I glance up, Tessa and Mama are in full out sprints. I giggle inside. Tessa wraps me in a tight embrace.“Miss me much?” I smirk.“Char, I swear. Mama and Daddy have been workin’ me to death on this farm. If you didn’t get home soon, I might actually have had to take care of those stupid goats, not to mention sloppin’ the hogs. Yuck!”I should have known Tessa was more excited because that meant less work for her, but that’s my sis, always missin’ when a little hard work needs to be done.“Hey, hun, I’m glad you’re home. Your dad’s gone into town to get a few posts for the fence. I don’t know what has gotten into that bull out there. It’s like he just doesn’t know which side he belongs,” Mama says.I pop the trunk and grab my bags. Mama grabs my laundry basket, and we make our way into the house. As I walk through the screen door, the sound of an F250 that I’d know anywhere rings in my ears. I smile and throw my bag at the bottom of the stairs. I do a one-eighty, press the screen door open, jump off the stairs, and run as fast as my legs will go to that perfect sound. Cash opens the door and steps out in one swift motion. He has on a pair of jeans, a white plaid pearl snap, camo hat, and boots. Damn. I jump straight into his arms and hold him as close as possible.“Miss me much?” He winks.I begin to laugh uncontrollably. “You know, I just used that line on Tessa.” I pull him closer. He looks into my eyes, smiles with that damn dimple, and I feel complete. Cash Money makes me whole. He finally puts me down when he hears the screen door open. I see Tessa standing there with her hands on her hips. “Um, did y’all plan that?”“Plan what, Tess?” I question as I straighten my long-sleeved white shirt. Then, it dawns on me. Jeans, white shirt, camo hat, and boots. Cash and I look like we planned our freakin’ wardrobe.“What can I say? Great minds think alike,” Cash says as he slaps my ass while we walk toward the house. We go inside and Mama has lunch waiting.

Madison Street : The Author Interview
Today I'm talking to author, Madison Street! Her debut novel is on it's way so let's get to know her!
Madison Street was born in New York City and was raised in the Bronx, where she resided until she was 17 years old. After 9/11, Madison joined the United States Navy to serve her country. During the deployments, Madison constantly wrote short stories and she discovered her passion for writing. You will find Madison always on the computer, whether she's on Facebook, designing websites, messing with Photoshop, or writing for her blog. Besides writing, her second passion is music and dance. Even though she's a terrible singer, she’ll still belt it out in the shower, especially if the song is her jam! She currently resides in Virginia with her husband of 8 years, 2 children, a dog, and a cat. She is so excited to start this amazing journey and is honored to be part of such a compassionate and loving community.
What genre do you like to write?
Well, my debut novel, Little Things is a romantic suspense. I’ve always loved a good hot-steamy romance but there’s just something about a suspense thriller. I want the reader to be on the edge of their seat and practically having a heart attack while reading my novel. But also feel the love between my characters and have their hearts melt. Well that’s my goal anyways.
Is there another genre you would like to try at some point?
I’m a really huge fan of Erotica so I might tackle that one day.
Do you have a writing ritual or a certain way you like to get ready to write?
I have to be alone in my room with my headphones blaring music in my ears. Music is such an integral part of the writing process. Music expands my mind and I come up with the best plots listening to music.
Tell us about one of your characters you loved writing:
I love both of my characters; they are my babies. Duke is the ultimate hero. He loves Raya so much and will do anything to protect her. His love for Raya begins as a friendship and then blossoms into something much more passionate, during the span of 5 years.
Raya is not your typical heroine. Her life is not easy because she experiences moments of family tragedy, neglect, and abuse. But what I love most about her is she never gives up hope. Hope that one day, she will overcome her inner demons and fight her way out, to build a better life.
Was there ever a time you felt like giving up? If so, what changed?
Actually, I gave up about 8 years ago. I was only 21 years old, just married, and just had my second child. I was always so busy and lost my love for writing. It wasn’t until about 6 months ago, that I started a blog and have met so many amazing authors, that I finally decided to follow my dream.
What advice would you give to an aspiring author?
Never give up and always follow your heart. The author/blogger community is absolutely amazing and there are so many people out there willing to help. All you have to do is ask.
What is your current obsession (absolutely anything)?
Well, I just finished reading Chasing Olivia by Micaela Smeltzer and I am seriously going through some heavy withdrawal! I’m hoping to read a few more books this month. On my list are Night Owl, Banded Together, Alluring Seduction, and A Tragic Wreck. And just for fun how about a teaser from Little Things!?
You can find more out about Madison and her upcoming novel, Little Things by liking her on Facebook and stalking her on Goodreads!

Natural Harmony

If someone would've told me three years ago that by 27 I'd have three novels under my belt, I would've laughed in their face. Writing has always been a passion for me -- an escape from reality and a love for which I meditate on. I only dreamed of having my name on the spine of a book and I wished for the kind of amazing things people have said to me over the last year and a half about my work.
With the arrival of my third novel I know there is so much ahead of me, so many more words and experiences. The amount of love and support that I feel from family, friends, readers and fellow authors on a daily basis in regards to my new career is astronomical and humbling.
Natural Harmony was such a unique writing experience. I wrote it quickly and fiercely as though the story moved through me rather than from me. Something about it was different but I can't put my finger on it. I love this book in a different way than my others. Maybe it was the fact that I took complete control of this one (much like my heroine). Maybe it was the fact that it was the first book to be written start to finish after my career had already begun. Either way, this one is a different kind of baby.
I have high hopes for this book but no matter what happens I will always be proud of it. Proud of the story, the characters, the manuscript, the cover, the fact that I coordinated the whole thing and hit the big publish button all by myself.
I hope you enjoy it. I hope you fall in love with Wade. I hope you want to be Sabrina as much as I do. I hope you don't write Beau completely off. And I hope you never stop reading, no matter what you pick up. Just keep reading.

Natural Harmony is now available!

NA Author: Adrianne James!

The Mythology department at prestigious Harvard University is tiny—and Mackenzie Duncan has just been selected as one of the lucky few. Her love for myths and legends is strong, but she never thought any of it could be real.
After being attacked by a large wolf while walking home alone, Mackenzie realizes something is not right. She heals quickly, is suddenly super strong, and is experiencing mood swings that can't possibly be normal. The myths she's studying aren't myths at all. Werewolves are real and she's one of them. Fear of what she is, and who she might hurt sends Mackenzie running from the life she’s worked hard to build–and straight into the arms of a handsome Were named Geoff and into the home of his pack. Living with her new pack takes the edge off her confusion and self-loathing, but the arrival of new pack members changes the dynamic, and tests Geoff and Mackenzie’s growing relationship.
The hardest part of being a werewolf is having no control and no memory of her time as a blood thirsty beast. When a moon cycle passes and she actually remembers bits and pieces of the night, she starts to ask questions, and the more questions she asks, the more she realizes she doesn’t like the answers. Can she set aside her own sense of morals to belong to a pack that is like a family or will she leave everything behind yet again in search of a life she can be proud of?

As a young adult and new adult author, Adrianne James has plans to bring stories of growing characters, a little romance, and perhaps a little magic and mythology down the line for her readers to enjoy.

Cover Reveal: I See London by Chanel Cleeton

AUTHOR NOTE ABOUT THE COVER:
I love, love, love this cover. From the beginning I wanted an iconic London image. I wanted something romantic, sexy, and adventurous that really captured the heart of the book. We played around with a couple ideas, wanting to convey both the sexy NA feel and the unique setting. It was a tough cover- my hero is half Lebanese, so finding stock images was a challenge. Harlequin was amazing to work with and I was so lucky to have tons of input. I actually created my own cover and sent it over to them and they did a beautiful job of taking my idea and improving on it tenfold! There's this line in I See London about London nights being full of adventure and possibilities. That will always be London for me and I think this cover represents that spirit perfectly. What do you think?
