For anyone who's ever felt 'Alienated'

New book alert!

I have a brand new book out this week, called "Alienated: Grounded At Groom Lake.' Alienated

It's a middle-grade, fish out of water comedy-adventure set in the most hostile place in the universe...high school.

Inspired in equal parts by science fiction and John Hughes films, it's the story of Sherman and Jessica Capote, who discover they are the only two human kids at their new school, Groom Lake High, the high school for aliens at Area 51.

It's a fun, funny, and poignant story that's for anyone who's ever felt like they don't quite fit in.

I hope you check it out!

Rotherham Book Awards

I'm thrilled to share that MetaWars: Fight for the Future has won its category in the Rotherham Book Awards.

The award, selected and chosen by readers, was announced last week in Rotherham, UK.

Other winners include Teri Terry for Slated and David Walliams for Ratburger.

I couldn't be there in person, but sent this video message to the students: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXzXlK...

Thinking Positive

I was recently interviewed by a new magazine called THE POSITIVE, a London based publication that focuses on positive stories.

Enjoy!

From relucant reader to dystopian author

I was a very reluctant reader as a boy, and when I started MetaWars: Fight for the Future I wanted to create a book that was as compelling and as addictive as the best of films and video games.

It's my hope that reluctant readers will discover METAWARS, turning them onto the world of reading, while advanced readers will relish in the book's high concept, fast-paced narrative.
