Born Dec. 27, 1950, Jerry De Pyper grew up and spent most of his life in the upper midwest of the Untied States, where he earned his living through a variety of careers. As a pro-life activist he tried, with very little success, to instigate a tax strike or tax resistance momevent within the pro-life camp. He currently lives in the mountains of central Nicaragua where he writes and maintains a web presence. His Nica neighbors tolerate his odd ways and poor Spanish because they are by nature accommodating to strangers.

Narnia. Definitely I'd go to Narnia, and live there as long as permitted.

What would I do there? Well, Narnia is the kind of place where it's not important what you do, just being there is good enough. But to answer the question...

I'd like to enlist, if possible, in service to Aslan in the royal court at Cair Paravel or perhaps as a sailor, and so be involved in glorious battles and adventures. On my days off, I'd maybe go down to the marshes and do a little fishing, hang out with Puddleglum and his friends. In my spare time, or when I retired, I'd write a book about a fictional world called Earth, a dismal place, but one where you might unexpectedly meet and have adventures with fellow Narnians.(less)
