Narnia. Definitely I'd go to Narnia, and live there as long as permitted.
What would I do there? Well, Narnia is the kind of place where it's not important what you do, just being there is good enough. But to answer the question...
I'd like to enlist, if possible, in service to Aslan in the royal court at Cair Paravel or perhaps as a sailor, and so be involved in glorious battles and adventures. On my days off, I'd maybe go down to the marshes and do a little fishing, hang out with Puddleglum and his friends. In my spare time, or when I retired, I'd write a book about a fictional world called Earth, a dismal place, but one where you might unexpectedly meet and have adventures with fellow Narnians.

Penny and Ma Baxter in The Yearling, probably because that was the first serious novel I read as a child, and because they are such a homey and everyday pair.

Have been a Sudoku fanatic for several years, and a programmer for even longer. The two things fit well, so decided to write a computer program to generate and analyze Sudokus, and Voila! - a book.
