Von Wong chased storms through 7 different states and spent many 8-hour days finding the perfect 10-15 minute windows for capturing his surreal stormchasing portraits.

Most of the time, Wong and his team, which included friends, fans, and professional stormchaser Kelly DeLay, had just 10-15 minutes to set up and shoot.

And even less time to tear down and get the hell out.

Eventually, he turned the experience into a climate change project, and his surreal photos became posters.
