John Masters is a decorated military veteran and police officer who became an author after writing about his experiences in policing. He has been interviewed multiple times about his opinion on police corruption, police policy, and police capabilities.

John was born in the United States, but has spent a considerable amount of his life overseas. He divides his time with his family between the U.S. States of Alaska and Georgia.

John Masters answered Goodreads's question: If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there? The EVE universe is where I would go. The EVE books were really addicting for me. I took them with me on deployment when I was in the military. The Burning Life was my favorite, it really kept me grounded while I was overseas.
