Creating Characters
The meat of any good book is not just the plot; but also the characters. For an author to come up with believable characters and characters that either people will love or hate takes a lot of work. The author must think of their personalities, physical appearance, and look at them as if they are real people. I find if I can’t relate to them or picture them in my head; then they usually will have a small part in my book. I want readers to get emotionally involved in my books and to look at the characters as people they know. The following is a link for an article I recently wrote on CHARACTER CREATION.

A great cover
The first thing people tend to look at when they are in search of a good book…. is the cover. If it does not grab their attention and tell something of the book, then it will most likely be passed up. Here is my explanation of why I chose the cover I did for Looking Through Blind Eyes.
