Human Nature

It's been a while since I've studied anthropology, but if I remember correctly, human beings tend to flock to one another for companionship and whatnot, with exception to the occasional hermit writer. It's the reason we have societies. The reason for this post? I noticed something today.

I can't seem to comment on some people's blogs. Sorry about that. Will look into it.

Blog Awards Abound

I woke up this morning (afternoon, really) to an email from my blog with a lovely little message that started out  as, "You're going to hate me for this ..." and that my friends, never sounds good, regardless of what follows it. I thought, "Oh dear God, what now?" and continued reading. Alas, I have been tagged for two blog awards by Adrien-Luc Sanders, whom I promptly hunted down on Twitter (@

Breathe

So...the latest report on my situation. Don't worry, I'm adhering to the no depressing posts and am in much better spirits these days.

My house went up for auction on Wednesday. There was the possibility of renting it, but Treehouse Group Realty (the fuckers), wanted $1500/month. Um, hello? That was my mortgage payment. If I could afford that amount, I wouldn't have lost the damn house. Not to

My Life in Hell – Loss

I have to preface this post with the fact that I've been told by friends that I'm not allowed to post anymore of these in the future because they're depressing. Well duh! It's called My Life in Hell. Sheesh. I'm over it now, so bugger off. This was written January 20/21, 2010 in a notebook because...well, you'll see why. These are just my insane random babblings after a very difficult night.

I'm

My Recent Hospital Trip

If you follow me on Twitter, you may know that I was recently in the hospital. I believe it was Wednesday, but don't quote me on that because my mind is nothing but fog right now. The question you're probably asking is why? Well, I have a pinched sciatic nerve. The same situation that lost me my job last year and took several months to recover from even with doctor treatment.

It hurts.

A LOT.
