I could use your help with a new promo campaign

I stated a Thunderclap campaign for War’s Passion.  What is that? Glad you asked. I just recently discovered this myself from a few friends who did it. It sound pretty cool. So I have until May 15 to get 100 supporters. You can support it via Twitter, Facebook or Tumblr. If I reach 100 supporters, my campaign will launch on May 15th through everyone’s social places they choice to support with.

9:00 pm – Midnight ~ Harlequin’s Dance Party

 

I may or may not be at other social events. I’ve never been to NOLA before and Hubby and I will be sightseeing. Updates and other fun stuff

There are some exciting things going on in my world. I can’t wait to share them all with you. However,  there are some new projects that I can’t tell you about just yet. But stay tuned, because it will be soon.

First are my upcoming release dates!

May 6th ~ Business Pleasures. This is book one of my new contemporary erotic series, Pleasures of the Heart.
May 27th ~ A Rebel’s Heart, Ashwood Falls 3.5. It was originally released in the Fated Desires anthology, Ever After, and now is releasing by itself in eBook only.
July 1st ~ Ashes of War, Sons of War 2. Grab the ice! Ty and Ash heat up the pages.
August 12th ~ Touch of Desire, Ashwood Falls 4.5. Releasing in the Dark Fates anthology with 5 other amazing stories!
Sept / Oct – ish ~ A Leopard’s Path (formally Misguided Path), Ashwood Falls 5. Ana and Kieran get their story and some unanswered questions are revealed in the Ashwood world.
Oct /Nov – ish ~ Chaotic War, Sons of War 3

Other titles in the works:

Imperfect Mate ~ The first in my new adult series Harmony Springs. More info is to come.
Secret book 1-3 ~ Can’t tell you. LOL. I can say it is a special secret project I’m working on for Decedent Publishing. More to come
Artemis’s War (working title) ~ Son’s of War 2.5. The title already gives too away. It’ll make more sense after you read Ashes of War.

 

This is a crazy schedule for me, but I’m loving it! So if you see me sitting in the corner with my knees drawn to my chest and I’m rocking back and forth rambling nonsense, just throw me chocolate and keep moving. LOL

When did social media stop being social?

It’s been a gradual thing over the last year, maybe longer. Facebook especially had made so many changes it’s hard to keep up. When I began my path to being an author FB was a great place to connect with my readers. They could easily find my updates, buy links and my randomness. Not anymore. I have to actually hunt down posts from my favorite authors that I follow on FB . I thought the whole point of the news feed was to get updates from my friends and pages I follow. Apparently FB doesn’t think so. They hide everything I want to see and stick in things I don’t want to see like product ads.

I can’t count of FB to connect with my readers anymore. I’m not sure they see my post. I love to talk to and meet new people. FB used to be the place to do that. Does this mean I’ll stop using FB? No. I’m finding ways to reach readers and still like hopping over there to goof off.

So here are some tips to be sure you get updates and my random acts of goof.

Be sure to “like” or comment on post. FB seems to think that if you don’t “interact” with your friends you don’t want to see their posts.

Join my fan club group. This is great for chats and any questions you want to ask me. It is a group I created for my fans and friends to talk about my books. Group link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/368820509920377/

A lot of this seems redundant, but I have a lot of new projects I’m working on now and want to be able to share them with you without worrying that you never saw me announcements.

Finding inspiration everywhere

One of the first questions I get asked when I tell people that I’m a writing is, “How do you come up with all these ideas?” My answer is always, “They just come to me.” While that is true, the inspiration still comes from somewhere. For me it comes from almost everywhere. From simple conversations, TV shows, commercials, movies, and real life situations.

Ideas come at me all the time. That is why I am writing three series and working on starting a forth. Yes, I’m crazy. LOL. But I love what I do and the flow of creativity my muse keeps bringing me.

New series coming

I’m excited about my new contemporary series. Pleasures of the Heart. The first book, Business Pleasures, comes out on May 6th! That’s just 34 days away! And the countdown starts tomorrow.

So what is the new series all about? Well, it’s a different type of series for me and not because it’s contemporary. Each book will be a short, steamy, stand alone with a common connection. That common connection is a Business Law firm and the lives of the partners, clients, family and friends of the firm. There will not be a continuing back story, making each story a stand alone.

Aimee Monroe never considered dating her boss. She needs a new beginning, not a big mistake. However, when the handsome, business lawyer, Kenton McDonnell, ask her to a dinner date with a new client and his wife, she finds it hard to say no. After the attacks on their dens, both Packs were broken. The wolves took a bigger hit and lost more of their packmates then the leopards. Plus the wolves had been compromised and left vulnerable, pushing Luna  to contact Keegan and form an alliance. They merged the Packs and kept the two hierarchies. Meaning there are two of each titled positions. I think they did that in case MoonRiver wanted to move on their own on day. Or maybe it was in case they couldn’t make it work.

Over the last 30 years, the Packs learned to depend on each other and trust one another. They grow stronger every day and work harder than ever to fight the rogue Onyx Pack and stop them from destroying all shifter communities.
