Touch Saga High Def & Taking Charge!
TOUCH SAGA NEWS!!
“Do you think there’s a way to change what he's done?”
With a gentle tap beneath my chin, he tilted my face to his. “If Garrison can play God, I think we can find a cure.”
~ Touching Smoke
Don't hurt me. I know you've all been waiting so very patiently for the launch of Fallon and Isaiah's next adventure. I know you've been anxiously anticipating the next chapter in their dark and twisted tale. I know because I've been dying to give it to you. So what's the hold up?
I'm excited to announce that the Touch Saga has been picked up by The Anchor group, a publishing home that has launched some of my all time favorite authors. It's an honor to have my work placed alongside authors such as Stacey Rourke, Katherine Polillo and Christy Sloat, and so many others. The contract was signed on the anniversary of Touching Smoke's one year release, which to me, feels like a good sign that I've made the right decision. It's hard to believe that I've been writing for a year now. I know I've grown as both an author and a person and this new step in my writing career just feels right. True, I was terrified at first. I am an indie, self-published author and I am proud of that so why would I hand my baby over to another person?
Because I respect Stacey, not only as a person, but as an author. I believe together, we will bathe the Touch Saga in a new and vibrant light.
So what does this have to do with the delay in the release of Touching Fire?
We're relaunching the Touch Saga. That means Touching Smoke & Touching Eternity. What does this mean for you, the reader?
It means new, never seen before chapters, deleted scenes and a little something as my way of saying thank you for your patience, for your support and for your unwavering followship. I can't tell you how excited I am for this new project. But more than that, I am practically delirious for the release of Touching Fire. I have surprises in store that you will never in a million years guess. I have twists, turns, action and romance that will leave you gasping. Oh yeah, this baby has it all. Fallon is about to step into a world that will steal every ounce of her humanity, a world that will bring out the prowling evil in her. It will change her and you in ways that you will never expect. Oh, did I mention that Touching Fire is only the beginning of the end?
On that note, I will leave you with the promise that The Anchor Group and I are working tirelessly to get everything put together and launched as quickly as possible. Dates will be released as soon as I have them, along with sneak peeks and teasers so stay tuned and make sure you follow my blog HERE.
This is Airicka signing off with hugs and well wishes to all!
Be safe!

Touching Fire Teaser (Isaiah's POV)

Her anxiety was a poisonous flower, bright, beautiful and lethal. Every moment it bloomed, it strangled the air around it with its toxic fumes until there was nothing to breathe but her. I ached to go to her. I ached to sooth her. I ached to push her away, to unhitch the thorns she’d borrowed into my soul, to untangle myself from the hold she had on me. But my hands… my hands were reaching, hurting with the need to touch her, to calm her with my skin. It seemed to work so I did. I touched her.
“Fallon.” My heart was in the single whisper of her name. I could feel it wrapping around each syllable like velvet. The severity of my need for her should have scared me. It should have appalled and embarrassed me, but it was her emotions now rushing over mine, blanketing them, smothering everything that should have been mine.
She was scared. I could taste the salty tang of it on my tongue. My fingers curled around her arm the way I wished I could wrap around her. I would have given my soul to hold her just then.
“I’m good!” she said, giving me a lopsided smile I knew was fake. “Just nervous.” But her eyes wouldn’t meet mine. They leapt from the two beds crammed inside the beat up motel to the dresser and the chunky TV as if everything were made of rubber.
I wanted to sigh. “We don’t have to do this today,” I told her.
She snorted, rolling her eyes. “Today. Tomorrow. What’s the difference? Might as well get it over with.”
Bravado. It never suited her. I could read her too well. I knew her concerns. I knew her fears. I knew why she was doing this and it thrummed like a physical wound.
“Fallon.” Her name… it was my lifeline. It held me, warmed me, gave me a reason to keep taking every breath. It was my prayer, but she would never know this. I could never tell her.
She laughed, elbowing me lightly. “Relax! I got this!”
I will be there! I wanted to tell her. I will protect you. I will keep you safe. I will never let anything hurt you. Each syllable was edged with razors that carved her name into the soft tissues of my esophagus as I swallowed them back, swallowed them down and buried them into the deepest recces of my soul where she would never find them. She would never know. I would die before I ever put the truth on her.
“Ready?” I asked her.
Her smile was shaky. “Is a fly ever ready to swan dive into the spider’s web?”
Again, it was on the edge of my tongue to tell her we could wait. We could postpone. But we couldn’t. I couldn’t let her. It had to happen. She had to go. It was the only way I knew how to keep her safe.
Would love to hear what you guys think!!! Comment below <333

http://www.amazon.com/Touching-Smoke-...
For sixteen-year-old FALLON BRAEDEN being on the run had been the easiest part of her life. Packing up and crossing whole cities on a split second decision had been tedious, having no friends and being alone had been painful, but being caught by the truth was something she learned too late was worse.
Fallon is a weapon. She was created to destroy. Keeping her alive, keeping her safe is all Isaiah knows. It’s all that matters, because Fallon is his. She belongs to him. She is a part of his body, his soul, his heart. He will do anything, kill anyone to keep her, even if it means sacrificing himself.
But can Fallon believe the stranger on the motorcycle claiming he was there to die for her? How do you trust when you have no one but the memories of a girl you’ve never met and a tall, dark, gorgeous boy that you feel pulsing deep in your soul? What do you do when you’ve been lied to your whole life? When you’re told you’re normal even though nothing about you is normal? Fallon must learn quickly just what she is before the evil chasing her finally gets what it wants… her blood.
The world depends on her not falling in love, not giving in. But what happens when the temptation becomes too great, when falling is her only option? Can she live knowing the world will burn because his touch is the only thing keeping her alive?
