NEW STORY ON THE WAY!
I will be releasing a new short story entitled The Continuance Agency very soon. Life has been so busy and it has taken me a long time to write this one, but I think it will be worth the wait. Have a great evening everyone!

Thanks Everyone!
This was a great week for my short story Vengeance By The Foot. I published this one in the spring and it sat rather unnoticed for quite some time.
Thanks to everyone who took advantage of the giveaway last week, and especially those of you who provided me such wonderful feedback and reviews.
This story came to me complete in one sitting. I wrote it at work, and then came home and typed it up and sent it to my brother Evans for editing that same night.
He said "Don't change a thing." and I didn't.
I should have a new story available soon, and I also just finished revising my previous story Gone, so if you haven't read that one yet, wait for version 2.0, which should be a vast improvement.
Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

Just reviewing a cool book I just read
I-35 by Brett SelmontMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
I picked up I-35 knowing nothing about what I was buying. The price was reasonable, and I liked the mixed-bag of reviewer ratings - a trait I look for when I venture into unknown territory - so I figured "what the hell?".
Happy I did. This was a well crafted and thoroughly enjoyable - not to mention fast - and I burned through it in one day. I only set it aside while I was driving.
I won't say it's perfect in every way, but the protagonist, David is a curiously likeable character despite his flaws.
An interesting cast of characters flows through the narrative, and every time you think you know what is really going on, Selmont craftily injects another twist to throw you off the trail... or does he?
I mentioned that I knew nothing about this story when I started reading it, and I would recommend buying it and reading it if you are into dark, hard-boiled fiction.
I look forward to reading the next book in the series entitled "I-66".
In closing, I am happy I found a new author that writes incredibly well.
Highly recommended.

The Grief Frequency
The Grief Frequency by Kealan Patrick BurkeMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
I had only recently become aware of Burke while browsing short stories on my Kindle Fire. I downloaded this due to the great reviews all of his work seems to garner.
I was not disappointed. This was an emotional story, perfectly paced. I could feel the grief the main character was experiencing, and found that the choices he made were very realistic in the face of his tragedy.
This was not a horror story, which is what I was looking for, but I have to say I don't mind that at all. I am eager to read his other stories.
Excellent story.

Entry 1
This is my first blog entry! Hello to all my fans out there... um, hello? Oh well, I'm sure there are some of you somewhere!
I wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who has taken time out of their busy schedules to read my short stories. It really means the world to me. I have a new story entitled "Belly Button Window" that I will release as soon as I decide on some cover art for it.
I hope you enjoy it.
I will keep everyone posted either here or on my facebook page as to when new material is coming, or when I decide I want to rant and rave, or things like that.
For now, take care!
