New Story Coming Soon

It's that time of year. The spirits are restless and I can hear the moans of the damned blowing in on the midnight winds. I decided to write a short story for my fans and post it on Goodreads exclusively to celebrate Halloween with all you cool cats! The story is called TOMMY ROTTEN, and it'll be up and ready in a day or two. I just have to edit it! Thanks for all the support from all of you. Hopefully this token of my appreciation gives you a few goosebumps.

Very nice short here from the always dependable Kealan Burke. This was perfect to read just before bed, let me tell you. I didn't have any nightmares at all. Nope. Not me. I thought it was about as tame as Walt Disney, I did.

Yeah right!

This story is short, but the length couldn't be more perfect. A nicely done little shocker from a very creative author. One of my favorites.

It's time to go TOES UP!

Howdy y'all! Hope you are all having an awesome evening. I know I am. My book TOES UP just went live in paperback format and as I promised you, I have the link. Toes Update 2

Good evening everyone. I hope all is well in your individual worlds. I have to say that I have certainly had a rather challenging month, and things have only just started to return to a semblance of the organized chaos to which I am most accustomed.
I would go into detail about all the craziness I've dealt with, but in retrospect, it is all trivial to anyone outside of my close inner circle, so I will get to the good stuff.
As of tomorrow - September 11, 2013 - my short story collection Toes Up will be available in paperback as well as e-book format. I am so excited to finally have this thing ready to go. I will be promoting it a little bit more when I have links to the paperback, so stay tuned for my next update.

TOES UPdate

A decidedly wicked storm finally moved off to the north of us. I was enjoying it and hate to see it go, ah but it lingered long enough for a feeling of contentment to settle into my very marrow. I felt it would be a great time to update those among you gracious enough to read this blog on the progress of TOES UP, my collection of short fiction. My brother, Evans - who I'm sure you already know - is currently spending some precious time assisting with the formatting issues and cover layout. Earlier today, I published the Kindle version, which is now available for $3.99.

It's finally here!

I am happy to announce that my first short story collection will be available on August 12th. It's called TOES UP, and it contains all my previously published short stories and one new one which is exclusive to this collection. I hope everyone enjoys it. It is only available in e-book format right now, but soon it will also be available in paperback as well. I am totally excited.

The Shingles...

Good morning.

On Thursday I went to the Emergency Room because I had some inexplicable pain in my lower abdomen. Turns out that I have shingles! What the hell, right? I'm 39 years old as of yesterday and I have shingles?

Oh well. Such is life. I am going to lay on the couch this weekend and catch up on Game Of Thrones. I have episodes 8, 9 and 10 queued up for today.

I am in exquisite agony. Anyone else ever have this happen to them? If so, I sure wouldn't mind some tips on how to minimize my plight. This shit really sucks.

Anyway, Amazon still has my story free until June 18. Feel free to get that right there at no cost to you until that date.
