Good Morning Monday! And a COVER REVEAL!
Who wants an exclusive cover reveal?? LOL Of course you do! I’ve had the cover to On Davis Row for aaaaages but as its about 75% written, I thought I’d share the cover with you all!
On Davis Row (which is the story I’m writing) is currently at 55K words, so I don’t have a blurb yet, and I’m aiming for a release date sometime in November.
I first saw the cover on a pre-sale site, and just loved it. It’s quite different to my usual covers – I’m normally drawn to abstract and avoid covers with a sexy guy on the front, but I loved this one. I didn’t have anything written for it, so it sat on my computer for a while, then two characters started to form in my head and I had a title before much of anything else, but I knew this was their cover.
So, without further ado, I present On Davis Row…
[image error]
Isn’t it GORGEOUS??? It was made by Marianne Nowicki at The Premade ebook Cover Shop. On Davis Row is the story of Noah Huxley and CJ Davis, a parole officer and a parolee. At first glance, they seem polar opposites, but as walls start to come down, they realise they’re not that different at all.
I can’t wait for you all to meet Noah and CJ. I was hoping to have it done by the end of this week (before school holidays) but that’s just not going to happen. These boys and their story is longer than I first anticipated. I’m at 55K and they haven’t even kissed yet! So now, my goal is to have it completed by the end of the school holidays (three weeks from now). It’s crazy timing, because I’ll be away for most of the holidays so maybe this new deadline is ridiculous. But fingers crossed!!

Good Morning Monday! In the last ten days…
[image error]
I really do need a new word for busy. Or a new definition at least. The last ten days have been crazy-busy. Let me recap for you…
The release of Yanni’s Story
The release of Red Dirt Heart 3 on audio
The release of Cronin’s Key III on audio
The re-release of Elements of Retrofit
Formatting of Yanni’s Story and Elements of Retrofit into paperback
Spencer Cohen 2 & 3 out of Kindle Unlimited and going into all retail stores
Blind Faith Series out of Kindle Unlimited and going into all retail stores
Sent Breaking Point to my editor for re-release edits (due out in Oct)
Wrote 10K on my WIP
Ordered final swag for GRL
I think that’s everything… I’ve probably forgotten something, no doubt. But as you can see, it’s been busy. And this doesn’t include anything going on in my RL right now. *sigh* I need a vacation. Seriously.
The paperback covers for Yanni and EoR are GORGEOUS!!

And believe me, they’re even prettier in real life!
As I mentioned above, Spencer Cohen books 2 & 3 are now wide releases. (Spencer 1 isn’t – long story short: an amazon promotion period overlapped with the KU cut off date) But I’ll be adding Spencer Book One in 90 days.

Speaking of audio releases… Cronin’s Key III had a bit of a hiccup. It was somehow not scheduled for global release and only hit the US on release week

For my audio listeners, Red Dirt Heart 3 is now available!
Joel Leslie has done a remarkable job in bringing Sutton Station to life. He captures Charlie and Travis so perfectly. I had the incredible privilege of proofing this and loved every second!

Good Morning Monday! All The New Releases!
Within a week, I will have had THREE releases!
Yanni’s Story (Aug 29th)
Cronin’s Key III on audio (Sept 5th)
Elements of Retrofit re-release! (Sept 6th)
Crazy, right? Busy too! LOL
First of all, Yanni’s Story made its way out into the world and I couldn’t be prouder! I’ve had some wonderful, heartfelt feedback who thanked me for giving them a voice. It breaks my heart that anyone has lived through (and thankfully survived) what Yanni went through. For many people, Yanni’s Story wasn’t fiction, and I’ll be forever grateful to the readers who contacted me to share their stories with me. If anyone were to ask me why I write, my answer is this: so people have something to identify with. And if my words can shed a little bit of light on one person’s darkness, then everything I’ve done thus far has been worth it. ❤

Next up is Cronin’s Key III on Audio!
The third and final instalment of Alec and Cronin’s epic adventure is out on audio September 5th!
Listen as Joel Leslie brings every character to life. The poor guy had six nationalities, as well different ages, different sexes, in ONE conversation, and pulled it off flawlessly!
You can find it at Audible

And last but not least, the re-release of Elements of Retrofit!! I am SO excited to be getting the rights back to my books with their current publisher. Things you need to know…
The current (old) version will disappear from sites on Sept 6th
I will upload the new version on Sept 7th.
The new version has been re-edited.
There is no new content.
It will be exclusive to Amazon KU.
The paperback will be available the same day!
Each of the Thomas Elkin books will be released as separate paperbacks.
I get the rights back to Clarity of Lines in December, and Sense of Place in Feb.
The current trilogy paperback will be unavailable from Monday.
Check out the amazing new cover Reese Dante made for me!!

I will post the buy links when the new version goes live!
In other news, my WIP is at 33K. It’s titled On Davis Row, and I need to get it finished before school breaks up in three weeks. If I can manage 10K words a week, I should be able to do it

Yanni’s Story – OUT NOW!!
YANNI’S STORY – OUT NOW!!
Blurb:
When Yanni Tomaras is kicked out of his family home, his parents’ final words are religious insults and an order to never return. Homeless and desperate, he’s lured in by Lance—charming on the outside, an evil predator underneath—who abuses Yanni until he finds the courage to leave.
Yanni should feel free. But by the time Spencer Cohen finds him, he’s resigned to being handed back to Lance and once again being caged by fear.
Starting school and a part-time job, Yanni begins to reclaim his life. But a love for silent films leads him to Peter Hannikov, a man with a kind heart but who’s twice his age. An unlikely friendship between them blooms into so much more. Neither man knows what he wants, at first. Finding out exactly what he needs is Yanni’s story.
“I’d spent years as a bird, caged with my wings clipped, tormented and beaten.
I thought I’d escaped when I’d left my abuser, but in hindsight, I could see that I was still caged, this time by fear and self-doubt.
Spencer and Andrew, and Andrew’s parents, opened the door to the cage that confined me.
But it was Peter who taught me how to fly.”
120,000 words.
Trigger Warning: Descriptions of violence, suicide, and sexual assault. Reader discretion advised.

Yanni’s Story! The whys and the warnings…
[image error]
I’ve just hit “publish” on Yanni’s Story. Amazon KU can take 30 minutes or two days to publish a book, so I figured I’d just hit publish today and hope for the best.
But before you think about reading this book, you might need to know a few things…
First, it’s a slow book. Why? Because healing from emotional and physical trauma is a SLOW process. For some readers it might be too slow, and that’s fine. Please know the pacing is deliberate and how the characters needed it to be told. Anything otherwise would have been forced, or there would have been huge time-jumps in the storytelling. The fact it’s 120,000 words probably doesn’t help either. It’s a LONG book! Yanni has a lot of issues to get through, and coupled with a slow healing process, it’s an unfolding story. There’s no action or drama, no formulaic plot twist at the 75% mark. It’s simply a story of healing and growing, and believing in yourself to finally find your place.
Second, there are trigger warnings in this book. Specifically:-
Trigger Warnings: Descriptions of violence, suicide, and sexual assault. Reader discretion advised.
These instances are not on-page, but the ramifications are. The events are described, their stories told, and the characters are left to deal with the aftermath.
Now, if trigger warnings are not your thing and you get annoyed in an ‘OMG it’s such spoiler’ kind of way, be thankful. Be thankful you don’t need to be pre-warned because of the lasting psychological damage shit like domestic violence and sexual assault can leave behind.
If you do need trigger warnings, in particular those listed above, I’mma hug you first then tell you this book might not be for you. ❤
Lastly, this book delves into Daddy kink, and it’s also May/December trope. If you’ve read the Spencer Cohen Series, you know Peter is 43 and Yanni is 21. Again, if these are not for you, you might want to give this book a miss.
Now, if you’re A-okay with the aforementioned, then please by all means go ahead and read. If not, that’s okay too. ❤
I’ll be posting the buylink as soon as it goes live!

Good Morning Monday! Weekly update and Yanni’s paperback cover :)
Hello again! This is only going to be a super short one today. I’ve had another busy week (I seriously can’t remember when they weren’t). So a quick rundown of what I got through this week:
Some (not all) proofing edits on Yanni’s Story
Released some (not all) ARCs of Yanni’s Story
Wrote 11K words. My WIP is now at 19K

Good Morning Monday! Silence – that shit is golden.
Yep, it’s Monday again. And if you’ve been reading these weekly musings from me, you’ll know Monday is my favourite day of the week! Sounds crazy, I know. But hear me out. After busy BUSY weekends of sport, usually travelling somewhere, housework, laundry for days, grocery shopping, noise, yelling at kids to pick their shit up, Monday to me means blessed silence.
Si. Lence.
And I tell ya, that shit is golden. LOL
I love silence. When my house is quiet and still, and the coffee is hot, it’s like the best thing ever. For writing, anyway.
I’ve had a busy week with work. What I got done:
Worked on second round and final round edits on Yanni’s Story.
Sent Yanni’s Story to proofreaders.
Worked on final round edits of Best of Both Worlds (the free story I haven’t exactly decided what to do with yet)
Spent far too long on formatting Best of Both Worlds for Createspace, which worked fine. As did ePub and PDF, but Mobi keeps being an arse. In the end, I gave up. LOL I’ll get back to it one day…
Sent Chasing Fire (my m/f omni story) off to an editor.
Sent Elements of Retrofit (Thomas Elkin 1) to my editor for new edits and re-release.
Sorted through some stock photos and stuff for new Thomas Elkin covers.
Managed some words on my new WIP, which is now at 8K words.
Bought another pre-made book cover. (I need to stop doing that LOL)
Worked on/bought more swaggy stuff for GRL.
And probably a bunch of other stuff I can’t remember right now.
What I want to get done this week:
All the words on my WIP. ALL of them! LOL
NOT buying any more pre-made covers. I think I need 12 step program LOL
And that’s it! That’s all I want to get done this week. I want to write, write, write! I’d really like to report back next week and say my WIP is now at 20K. It’s probably not likely, because I have so much other stuff that pops up every damn day, but I want ALL the words. And I know that writing books is only 50% writing (probably less, I suck at maths LOL) and all the other stuff has to be done, but damn. All the other stuff (like editing, marketing, promo, formatting, blah blah blah, just kills me. I’m trying to delegate more but that, like too many files on my computer, are a WIP

Good Morning Monday! What’s news?
Seriously, it’s like I’m writing these GMM posts every second day… This post is only going to be super short. A fly-by post, really.
Anywhooooo, it’s been another busy week. I swear, they all are these days.
Because Yanni’s Story is 120K words long, my editor is doing edits in three split parts. The book itself is written in three parts, so it makes sense to edit in three smaller, more manageable sections. Then we’ll put it all back together into one book before release

Good Morning Monday! August already?
Thought I’d try a different GMM pic today.
