Good Morning Monday! Its’ On Davis Row Release Day!
Yay! I love release days!! On Davis Row is OUT NOW! You can grab it at:
I can’t wait for you all to meet Noah and CJ
Blurb:
Nearing the end of a suspended jail sentence should unlock a brighter future for CJ Davis, only the chip on his shoulder is as hard to shift as his bad reputation. Born into a family of career criminals who live down Davis Road, an address the cops have dubbed Davis Row, his name alone is like a rap sheet that makes optimism impossible.
Brand-new parole officer Noah Huxley is determined to see the good in men like CJ. After all, he knows firsthand that bad things can happen to good people. His colleagues mock his doe-eyed optimism, but Noah soon sees CJ’s bad attitude and bravado are weapons he uses to keep people at a distance.
Both men know one simple mistake can change a life forever. At first glance, they might seem to be polar opposites. Yet underneath, they’re not that different at all.
On Davis Row is 95,000 words long, is priced at $3.99, and is available on KU.

Good Morning Monday ~ My God, it’s almost December…
[image error]
Can you believe it? The countdown to Christmas is on… *shudders*
Anywhooo, last week was another super busy week for me. Including being super sick yesterday, what I still managed to get done:
Wrote 14K on my WIP, now at 39K. Tentatively now titled Finders Keepers.
Signed a contract for Sixty Five Hours to be translated into Thai.
Completed two rounds of edits on On Davis Row (95K words x 2)
Sent out ARCs for On Davis Row
What I have to do this week:
Finish the first draft of Finders Keepers
Complete final proofing edits on On Davis Row
Give the final publishing draft of On Davis Row a polish before uploading into Amazon and hitting “Publish” for next Monday! Eeeeeek!!
Complete edits on the re-released version of Clarity of Lines (Thomas Elkin 2)
As you can see, things are just a little hectic

Good Morning Monday! On Davis Row Cover and Blurb!
Good Morning Monday! It’s been another busy week, but seriously they all are. It’s my son’s birthday this week so he’s had friends over this last weekend. Let me tell you, not only can six teen boys can make a helluva lot of noise, but they can mow through a truckload of food. LOL Amongst other RL things, I have managed to get some writing done.
My WIP, now titled Finders Keepers, is at 25K, and I’m still thinking 40K will see it done. It’s a super cute fluffy story of Griffin and Dane and a dog called Wicket.

Good Morning Monday! November = Nano = New Book, New Characters!
Well, November came around awfully quickly, didn’t it? I’m not sure when/how that happened, but wow, we’re now in the countdown for Christmas… o.O
So I’m doing the Nano thing – which is short for Nanowrimo, which is short for National November Writing Month. It’s a world-wide writing group that aims for each person to write 50K in the month of November. I can usually write that in a month anyway, but by the end of the year, I find the kick in the pants helps with my focus.
If you’ve joined Nano and want to buddy up, you can find me HERE.

And I’ve started a new story! Tentatively titled Lost and Found, it’s going to be a shorter, fluffy contemporary. Although I don’t plan or plot or outline, so I really don’t know how it will end but I can say it’s set on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and tells the story of Griffin and Dane, and a dog called Wicket. I’m currently 10K into it and imagine it will be about 40K long. I know I say that a lot and the book ends up at 80K but I’m pretty certain this one will stay short. Fingers crossed, anyway.
Maybe it will be ready for a January release? I’ll be sure to keep you posted.

Good Morning Monday ~ Denver Edition!
Denver, Colorado, I am in you! I’m currently sitting in the lobby of the Marriott in Denver. Literally.
I promise I will post more pics of my trip to the USA when I get home and get organised. I will say though, that GRL has been a wonderfully fun time and I have thoroughly enjoyed catching up with old friends and meeting new ones! The absolute best part for me is being with my book family. You know how it is, we can talk books to our friends and they all nod and smile (and probably think we’re crazy) but everyone who attends GRL gets it. Like, really gets it. These are my people, and that’s what I love most.
Just a quick post really to update you on BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. It is finally free on Amazon, but not in Europe. Amazon are yet to explain to me why this is, but I’m working on it. You can find it at Smashwords, B&N, and iBooks.

And a heads up that BREAKING POINT will be re-released this week. The rights return to me on the 26th and I will be doing my best to get it back out asap. Fingers crossed for the 27th.
Okay, so that’s it for this week! I will post more on my trip next week and share some photos! Much love! And until then…
❤

New Release Today! And it’s FREE :)
Yep, you read that right. That free book I’ve been talking about for a while is OUT NOW!
Best of Both Worlds is a drabble story. What’s a drabble, you ask? Drabbles are, according to Wikipedia,
A drabble is a short work of fiction of around one hundred words in length. The purpose of the drabble is brevity, testing the author’s ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in a confined space.
Sometimes drabble-fiction is just one drabble. A haiku, if you will. Sometimes it’s lots of them to make one full story. And that’s what Best of Both Worlds is. It’s a 20,000 word story told in 100 word increments/chapters. It’s not like a “real” (properly structured) book.
The gorgeous cover, which I don’t believe I’ve shared with you yet, was made my James at Go On Write, and I saw it on a presale site and just HAD to have it

Good Morning Monday!
I can’t believe it’s almost October! That means it’s almost time for GRL! Three weeks, to be exact, before I fly out from Sydney to LA, then head to Denver! I’m super excited but woefully unprepared. It’s the beginning of the school holidays here, so not only do I have family stuff but that means my work time is almost down to nil. I’m also sick! My doctor says I have influenza (it’s been a horribly bad flu season this year in Australia) and I can honestly say, on top of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, I feel like death warmed over. I’ve been trudging along on my WIP, but my hopes of having it done before the holidays, or even before GRL, look unlikely. Which means my estimated release date of sometime in November also looks unlikely.
But it’s not all doom and gloom!
Yanni’s Story won FIRST PLACE at Open Skye Book Reviews Book of the Month for August! I’d like to give a HUGE thank you to all the bloggers and reviewers who work tirelessly and volunteer their time to make our community such a wonderful place!

Switched is now out of Kindle Unlimited and will be in all retail stores asap! These can take a few days to appear, so I’ll be sure to add the links as they happen. But as for now, you can find Switched at Smashwords, Payhip, and of course, at Amazon.
In audio news, Switched had a fabulous release day and made Audible’s Best Seller’s list in LGBT fiction! Actually, in Audible’s Top 20 LGBT fiction, I have THREE books! Switched, Cronin’s Key and Cronin’s Key II are all sitting pretty in the Best Seller’s category! Thank you to everyone who bought and reviewed my audio books, and my ebooks as well!
You can find Switched at Audible
In other exciting audio news, The Weight of It All is now up for pre-order!!!
You can pre-order it at Audible
Also, keep an eye out for Point of No Return being on special later this week! As part of a Bookbub deal, it will be on sale for just 99c! The sale is exclusive to Amazon!
Okay, that’s it for this week. Fingers crossed I start to feel better, and fingers, toes, and eyes crossed that I can get the first draft of On Davis Row closer to being done.
Have a great week, and thank you for reading! Until then… ❤
