Book Signing Follow-up
Book Signing Double-Header follow-up.
I conducted two very successful book signings at Hastings Books, Music & Video stores on Friday, at the Shadle Park, Spokane, Washington venue, and Saturday at the Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, site. The traffic was heavy, I talked to many people, handed out lots of flyers and signed many copies of all three of my novels, THE WOLF OF BRITANNIA, PART I & II and THE SIGN OF THE EAGLE. I will be returning to both stores in the Fall for encores.
I want to thank book manager, Jon Klapp, at the Shadle Park store and book manager, Cathy Wooden, at Coeur d'Alene for their support making these two successful events.
Next book signing: Barnes & Noble, Blossom Hill store, San Jose, California, Saturday, April 18th, 12-5 pm.

Book Signing Follow-up
Book signing double-header follow-up: On Friday, I was at the Hastings store in Wenatchee, Washington for a signing of THE WOLF OF BRITANNIA, PART I & II and THE SIGN OF THE EAGLE. In the past, this has always been one of my best stores for signing. Unfortunately, I had to compete head-on with the Gonzaga Bulldogs Men's Basketball team playing UCLA in the "Sweet Sixteen" round of the NCAA basketball playoffs and not only was UCLA the loser, but so was I. The normally very busy store was a ghost town (I was to learn that Barnes & Noble, Spokane Valley, where I signed the next day had the same experience). As a result, I sold very few books, everyone in Wenatchee must have been glued to their TV sets.
Anyway, I will be returning there in the Fall. Martha Lynn, the book manager, definitely wants me back.
Fortunately, my signing at Barnes & Noble, Spokane Valley, on Saturday, more than made up the difference. Several times I had short lines of people waiting to hear about the book and buy copies of all three. The weekend manager, Kasey, said I was the best author they have ever had at the store. I was embarrassed because they have had several big time authors that drew large crowds. I asked about that and she said I was still the best because of the way I interacted with people.
I want to thank Kasey, Cindy and the rest of B&N associates for their assistance and support in making this a very successful event. I have signed at this store four times, but Kasey said that she wants me to return again in the Fall. "You are awesome!" she said. Oh, please, Kasey.
