Happy Diaversary, Q! (11 Years with T1D!)

This month marked 11 years that Q has lived with type 1 diabetes. Eleven. Years. She has now lived 75% of her lifetime with diabetes. We marked the day with cupcakes, of course. Cupcakes are totally bolus-worthy!

Conservatively she’s done:

24,102+ finger pricks and blood sugar checks 4,400+ insulin injections 1339+ insulin pump changes A gazillion juice boxes and Smarties to treat low blood sugars
