Burning Blog Love: Naughty New Year Blog Hop (Dec 28-30)

 

Hi Friends!  I’m playing in the Naughty New Year’s blog hop and we’re supposed to provide a post that has a link to a New Year’s theme.  Well, since I write sexy romance, I’ve decided to provide you with a sexy drink to celebrate the night with that special someone:

SEXY MIDNIGHT MARTINI

Ingredients:

3 to 4 Raspberries
5 to 7 Mint leaves
1 oz Fresh lime juice
1 oz Simple syrup (one part sugar, one part water)
1.5 oz Premium citrus vodka
1.5 oz Moët & Chandon Rosé Imperial Champagne

Garnish: Mint sprig and raspberry

Glass: Martini

Preparation

In a shaker, muddle the raspberries and mint. Add the remaining ingredients except the Champagne and fill with ice. Shake, and strain into a Martini glass. Top with the Champagne and garnish with a mint spring and a raspberry.

Hot Winter Nights Blog Hop Stop

I don’t know about you but Christmas is in full swing at my house.  I’m a crazy Christmas decorator and I love the evenings when we turn down the light, turn on the tree and the fireplace and all snuggle in to relax.

And, then  . . . The Main Man and I snuggle up again after we put the kiddos to bed. ; )

But, for me the mood is complete when we pick just the right song for the right time.  I’ll spin the oldie but goodie “Andy Williams Christmas Album” when we decorate the tree, “The Chipmunk’s Christmas” or a Disney compilation when the kids are decorating cookies, and A little Michael Buble or Harry Connick Jr. when it’s time to dial up the romance.

Burning Fun – Help me name the salon in Lucky’s book!

Okay friends – here is the deal. I need help naming a place in my current work in progress – His Southern Temptation. It is the sequel to “A Night of Southern Comfort” and it tells Lucky’s story.

Well, Jackson (the hero from AnoSC) and Luc…ky are best friends and cousins – their mothers are sisters. Jackson’s mom owns the Southern Comfort Diner and just across Main Street in Elliott. VA sits the local beauty parlor – owned by Sissy, Lucky’s Mom.

I need a name for her salon.

Sissy looks a lot like Sissy Spacek, she’s funny, outgoing and a peron who everyone goes to for help. Her salon is one of the best places to find out what is going on in Elliott.

The one I choose will be used in the book and the winner will be listed on the acknowledgments page. Thank you!
