News(letters!) and an Article

I got some news to share with you all!

On the one hand: As you might already know, I was part of an event during the month of February called Fiery Hot Reads for Icy Cold Nights. It was great to be part of it, and to share the excitement with so many other authors and bloggers! For my part, I wrote an article for Christy’s Love of Books blog, called “Romance in Writing”, where I talked about the romantic relationships in my stories and why they’re the way they are. If you’ve not read it yet, I...

Cover Reveal: Shattered Silence

Keith never believed in Happily Ever After, at least not for someone like him. However, that’s exactly what it feels like when he has the love of his life by his side.

Alice fought everything she was, everything she thought she wanted to be, just to save him. When the nightmare blew over and the both of them were left standing, she thought she’d get her shot at happiness.

But how long can bliss last when everything they hold dear starts to crumble around them? Can they truly be free of a hatred...

Bilingual web? Why, yes! (er… no, not really)

My original reaction to this piece of news was… whew! Pure awesome! Which I hope everyone understands and even relates to, a bit.

Problem is, keeping up to date a website is hard work. Keeping up two, translating all my own content, while keeping up with my other job and actually trying to write my next novel was a herculean task.

And, hey, I’m no demigod.

So, you’ll note that I changed the design (again, though I hope the looks will stay this time). And it’s back to pure English because, heck,...

Bilingual web? Why, yes!

You might have noticed my new author website design (or at least, I hope you did…) Other than the spiffy looks and sleeker navigation, there’s a reason behind the change. See the featured image in this post? See the upper-left corner of the website? There are…

Little flags! Oh, yeah!

That means, people, that Silent Song is going to be translated into Spanish! The project has been in progress for a while now, but things were mostly hush-hush. Now, though, the full translation is undergoing final...

Cover Redesign

I’m feeling ecstatic, because I have some awesome news to share with you all. Ready?

Well, Silent Song is no longer just Silent Song: now it’s all set to become book 1 of the Ghostly Rhapsody series! Which means…

Yay! Cover redesign because of the series! I simply love, love, love how moody it is and how well it reflects the story. I simply love it.

If you’ve read it, you know that most things are tied up by the end of the novel. However, there’re a few details that tie in directly with the cons...

Taking Stock and Giving Away

Hey everyone!

I know, I know, I’ve been silent for a while (and nope, it wasn’t a prompt for my novel!) just holding my breath and waiting to see how you’d like my baby book… Three months after its release tour, I have to say that I’m really, really happy! I mean, you like Alice and Keith. You feel their story, and it touches you like I only hoped it would. What else could I ask for?!?

Well, I don’t know about you but when something goes well, when I’m glad about something, I always ask for a c...

The Original Story

This is the first piece I wrote about Alice’s obsession and Keith. They were nameless back then. I sent the story to an editor, as a piece of flash fiction for a magazine… they really liked it but asked me to expand it a little, take it closer to the one thousand word mark. I did expand it-into a full novel! (This piece was first published at A Tale of Many reviews.)

The three women entered the coffee shop and sat near the windowpane, looking around with ill-hidden curiosity, and she saw him a...
