What is that smell?

For those of you who have dogs, I bet you’ve run across this very important question a few times in their lifespan.

On his 4 am potty break (yes, you read that right), my adorable lab was gone for a whole hour, doing gods only know what.

After his doggie adventure, he came back with this smell. He either ate something he wasn’t supposed to or rolled around in it. I’m thinking both. We thought it would fade, right? Nope, not so much. So three days later, Hubby called it…the dog won the battle.

Summer television…

I used to dread Summer television. All the good shows ended at the school year, and the stations would put on re-runs and pilot shows that usually bomb. But in the last few years, I’ve been noticing a change in the programing. They are putting out seasonal shows that run just during the Summer and some of them are darn good!

I had a piece of chocolate the other day (we won’t discuss how many), and found a note inside that really hit me.

I pinned it on my wall so I wouldn’t forget.

The Sun!

Gosh, it feels like ages since I’ve seen the sun. It’s June and this is the first week this year that we are supposed to reach 70 degrees every day. (Okay, workday, but I’ll take it!)We’ve had less than five (or so) days this whole year it’s been that warm. I’m stoked!

Maybe we can even turn off the heat in the house. I know, right? But I turned it off last week. I think it got up to 72 degrees one night. The next day, I decided since it wasalmost June, weshouldn’t be running the heat...
