Guest blogger: Morticia Knight

Hi all,

I have a wonderful fellow TEB author on my blog today with some interesting thoughts about romance and a book that is likely to make you drool. Please welcome the lovely Morticia Knight with her new release Lust Emergency!

The First Bloom of Love – And The First Doubts

The beginning of a romance is glorious. You have that squishy feeling in your stomach, everything is new and exciting, and you can’t stop thinking about them. Sometimes, the stars in your eyes about your new squeeze hide those little red flags about whether this could be the one or not.

Everyone has a deal-breaker. Those are the things that you must have in a potential LTR, and the things that you absolutely will not tolerate. It could be religious or political views, honesty, lifestyle, ethics, responsibility – or something as simple as someone needing to have a sense of humour before you’re willing to put up with them for the rest of your life. The humour requirement is near the top of my list. You have to have at least passed Sarcasm 101 with a solid B before I’ll even consider you.

There are times though, when an issue comes up with a new prospect that you never even thought was a possibility. How do you determine whether it’s a deal-breaker or not? In Lust Emergency, Uniform Encounters 3, Jackson has just spent a wonderful night with the sultry and sexy younger paramedic Terrence. Everything about him seems right – except for the confession he made in the middle of their date where he admitted to being a member of a sex club. Can Jackson, a conservative ER doctor accept that? And can he believe the young stud when he promises that he’s done with that lifestyle?

Excerpt:
Lounging in his king-sized bed, Jackson was enjoying his second day off in a row—the first time that
had happened for a long while. He kept replaying the luscious kisses he‘d shared with Terrence the night before. It had taken all of his strength to keep from allowing their make-out session to escalate to the next level. The touching and closeness, even Terrence’s smell, all of it remained with him long after his date had left.

And it was a date. He was dating again, and it was okay. He had always known that Walter would have wanted him to move on, but he hadn’t been ready. Ever since Terrence had come over to him in the cafeteria, though, he’d been moving closer and closer to the idea of sharing his life again with another man.

Something prodded the back of his mind..

Sinsation. I wonder what that place is really all about?

He should just let it go. Not worry about it. Terrence had promised he was done with that lifestyle, so what difference did it make what the club was like? He threw the black down comforter back and sat up, clad only in his black silk pyjama bottoms. The built-in electric fireplace had kept the room at a comfortable temperature, but he threw on his top and smoking jacket since the rest of the house wouldn’t be heated right away. He checked the hall, and his paper, the Arizona Republic, was there. He picked it up, heated water in the kettle, then added it to the French press already filled with his favourite espresso roast. He then poured some cream and stirred it in.

He sat at the small modern breakfast table in the kitchen with his coffee and paper. In a few minutes after he’d skimmed to see what articles caught his eye, he would get up and toast a bagel, add some cream cheese and a slice of tomato, and get down to some serious reading.

Idly flipping through the Republic, he got to the entertainment section. He choked on his coffee as soon as he saw it—an ad for a live BDSM sex show at ‘Phoenix’s premiere adult entertainment centre, Sinsation’. The show began at eight o’clock and was starring two of the gay porn industry’s hottest stars. They had laughable names, and he shoved the paper away from him. He crossed his arms in front of him, frowning. He could feel anger and…disgust. That was what Terrence had been afraid of when he’d confessed to going to the club. Participating in sex as a sport. With strangers, people watching—it was too much for him to handle. Maybe they really were too different to be together.

But it hadn’t felt like that the night before. Or the other night in the restaurant lounge. Or their first night at the jazz bar. As much as Terrence had told him that he thought Jackson was the classy one—the compassionate nice one—Terrence had exuded nothing but class and goodness. He had shown such real concern for Reggie, the beating victim. He knew Terrence was genuine.

Isn’t he?

Jackson rubbed his forehead. It was too early in the morning for all of this. He would finish his coffee and go do some errands. Mr Nibbles rubbed against his leg, purring. Right, he had to get cat food, and he was low on groceries and cleaning products. He really should mop the kitchen floor as well, and it wouldn’t be a bad idea to scrub the Jacuzzi tub either. Plus there was that article in the medical journal he subscribed to online about a new antibiotic on the market. Oh, and calling his parents was a good idea too.

Who am I kidding? Terrence and this stupid club is all I’m going to be thinking about all day.

Release Day: A Nightmare Come True

Hello my lovelies!

It's release day - A Nightmare Come True is available from Total-E-Bound as of today. Here's an extra snippet / sneak peek for you to enjoy while I'm celebrating in lovely company. There might even be bubbly later tonight...

>>>Colin’s eyes met mine and I knew—knew—that he had read every dirty thought in my mind just then. A blush warmed my cheeks and I had to look elsewhere, anywhere but at my mum because I feared that the scandalous pictures in my head would just drop out and scatter across the room for everyone to see. “I met him at the film set,” Colin said with perfect calm. “I guess you could say we’re co-workers.” “Oh, so you work for them too? How interesting. Not that Mike tells me much about this job of his, but it must be a fantastic opportunity for you boys to meet some of the stars you admire.” Colin grinned. The little fucker was enjoying this while I was about to spontaneously combust from the heat in my face.<<<

And in case you managed to miss it, here's the blurb again:

Dreams can come true—but sometimes nightmares are very real, too.
When Michael—Mikey—Fawkes bags himself a job as a handyman for a film production company and meets his favourite actor, gay porn star Colin Meighan, he believes his dream has come true. Colin indeed appears to be a dream turned to flesh. Handsome, young and as insatiable sexually as the roles he plays suggest, he makes his way into Mikey’s bed and introduces him to unknown carnal pleasures. A slick lover and sweet talker, Colin also finds a place in Mikey’s heart, but as Mikey lets his new lover lure him deeper and deeper into a world of decadent on- and off-screen sex, their indulgences begin to take their toll on Mikey. Curious to find out more about the strange and inexplicable effect Colin has on his sex partners, Mikey discovers that there is a terrible reason why one man alone can never be enough to satisfy Colin’s hunger and he realises that dreams can come true—but sometimes nightmares are very real, too.
Reader Advisory: This book is the first in a series with an ongoing story arc. It is set in the world of gay porn where the heroes enjoy a red-hot multi-man pile-up  with secondary characters as well as some mild BDSM play.

Fantasy for Sale is a Finalist in the Rainbow Awards

Yes, you read that right - Fantasy for Sale is a finalist in this year's Rainbow Awards! I feel blessed and honored that my book is mentioned in that list alongside so many fabulous authors, even more so because it wasn't an easy book to write. But obviously spending so much time on Nate and Cam and telling their story the way they wanted it was the right thing to do because now I get to replace the pretty Honorable Mentions badge with this beauty:

Now the nerve-wrecking time of waiting for the announcement of the winners has begun... The big day is December 8th. Meanwhile, why don't you check out the list of books that have made it? Here's the link: http://reviews-and-ramblings.dreamwidth.org/3898883.html

Big thanks go to Elisa Rolle, the person behind the Rainbow Awards, the Jury and of course my wonderful editors: Sue Meadows who never fails to put me back on track whenever my scatterbrained self wanders off the right path, and the lovely Jade and Jenny who add some colour to my manuscripts as they pick up the big and small errors I have left in my wake. Ladies, you rock!

Sneak Peek: A Nightmare Come True

Hello darlings,

I'm in a pretty good mood today, so I thought I post a little sneak peek from A Nightmare Come True for you - just to give you a little taste of Colin and Mikey.

This snippet finds our boys as they meet - on set, ready to roll. Here you go:

“So, this is where the action’s gonna happen, huh?” I observed, mainly just to say something.
Pete glanced at me. The corners of his eyes were wrinkled in a half-smile. “Yeah. You’re early.”
“Well, yes. I figured it might be better if I came early.”
A soft chuckle right behind me made my back tingle. “Sweetheart, in this business it’s never good to come early.”
Pete looked past me and grinned. “You took the words right out of my mouth. Hi, Colin. You’re a bit early yourself.”
“Yeah, I know,” Colin drawled. He moved past me and leaned in to Pete who tilted his head. For a moment I thought he’d kiss him full on the mouth, then Colin turned the motion into a quick peck on the cheek, but it was too late.
A scene from the film I’d watched last night in anticipation of the meeting interfered with reality and a dirty fantasy began to unwind in my mind. I imagined Colin greeting me with a kiss, only that ours would be open mouths and tongue-touching and all. Blood shot into my dick, fast enough to make me dizzy. Fool that I was, I’d come prepared to meet the star of my dreams, but nothing had prepared me for Colin’s enormous sex appeal. On camera he was sexy as sin, off camera he was Viagra on legs. He wore tight-fitting, ripped blue jeans and a pale grey, long-sleeved T-shirt. The fabric of the latter was so soft that it not only hugged the curves of his pectoral muscles—I could also easily make out the shape of the nipple piercing underneath.

Special Guest: Ash Ishinose

Hi all,

Please welcome new author Ash Ishinose who is here to tell you about her book In Liam's Wake

The business ones

What genre(s) do you write in and why?
I write Sci-Fi & Fantasy, and of course m/m romance. Why? I like magic and sci-fi, and I like men, so I figured, why not throw them all together?

Tell us about your latest release
I have two releases, actually. In Liam’s Wake and From Johann to Tannenbaum. Both books are a part of one single series called Toys and Soldiers. Liam’s book is a trilogy and it’s book 1-3, Johann is a standalone book 4. So they can be read in any order.

Do you need a special setting to write in or do you have a ceremony to get you in the mood? What does it look like?
I need quiet. I can get inspired anywhere, anytime, but when I write, I need a very peaceful area.

Where do you find inspiration?
I think, well, I try to do things that haven’t been done before, or if they have, then use characters which haven’t I haven’t seen much of. I don’t really talk about myself much because my life is in my stories, or at least, a part of my life. Liam is a bit like my social situation right now, living away from my family. Johann has many bits of me inside it. I deal with it by having my characters deal with it.

Who is your favourite character and why?
My favourite character is Met. He’s the hero/bad guy in all the books. He’s a constant and he’s bitter and old. I do like Liam (though he’s hard to like), but my heart belongs to Met. Please let me know what you think of him if you read.

Your favourite drink and food when writing
The blood and body of Christ you mean? No? Then no.Nnothing special.

The nosy ones

How much of the real “you” is in your stories?
I do not consider my stories Mary-Sue but their issues are my issues. You write what you know.

Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character? Who was it?
Jack Sparrow, him and Cry Baby Walker (I think you can see a pattern here)

A person you admire
EL James, because apparently, her writing is awful and her story is paper thin riddled with inconsistencies, yet she is able to make millions. Such a woman should either be pitied or admired, I’m still on the fence. Personally, I have never read her books, but I will say this, she’s proof positive that you just never know how things will turn out.

If you could ask any person in the world one question of your choice, who would it be and what would you ask them?
Tinnean, and it would have to be, “in your book “Bless us With Content” about Ashton (awful Ashton) and John, for the love of GOD confirm or deny, was John in love with his older brother or not because it’s bugged me till this day.”

The fast ones

Favourite colour? red

Favourite pet? Rat

Coffee or tea? Hot chocolate

Quickie or candles? Quickie

Hunky or chunky? Weak-willed with self-esteem issues.

Suit & tie or jeans & boots? Suit and boots.

Walk in the park or chat over cocktails? A trip to Vegas with poor choices along the way.

Thank you for the interview, Ash. It was nice to learn more about you!

For eight years, Liam Baldwin has been trapped underground in ‘The Colony’. His best friend and fellow detainee, Riley Scott, is comatose. Only Riley knows how to get out, but as the fifth year of his slumber comes to a close, Liam’s hope of ever seeing home again has faded.

Now he's faced with two options: Continue in his quest to revive Riley despite amassing staggering debt as well as the wrath of bounty hunters and vengeful mutants, or leave the past behind--leave Riley behind--and give his life, his body, his mind, his loyalty over to the establishment by becoming a soldier for The Colony.

Two roads, one path, and no return.

Fantasy for Sale Receives an Honorable Mention

Hi all,

You may have heard it already - Fantasy for Sale has received an Honorable Mention in this year's Rainbow Awards! An Honorable Mention means that during the first reading period a judge really liked the book, so much they gave it a rate above 36 out of 40; an HM doesn't necessarily mean the book is a finalist, you have to wait for the actual announcement on October 1 to find out.

Needless to say, I'm thrilled that Fantasy is doing so well - and let me tell you, it's in excellent company. There are lots of great books by talented authors in the Rainbow Awards and I'm very proud that Fantasy has made it this far. Thanks to the jury and big thanks to my wonderful editor Sue - you rock, love!

Exclusiv Sneak Peek: Nightmares Series

Hi all,

At some point during the sleepless child / neurotic dog / cat that thinks she's a tiger - disaster I managed to fill in the last cover questionnaires for the Nightmares Series. And that made me notice something: I wrote an extra blurb for the series, but so far that hasn't been shown anywhere, so as a little treat for you, my dear blog visitors, you get to sneaky peek what has so far only been revealed to my editor and cover artist.

Here's the Nightmares Series blurb:

What if the old, folkloristic tales are true and nightmares exist? What if a nightmare isn’t just the vivid and frightening scenario our tormented subconscious presents to us as we sleep, but a paranormal being that is as substantial and real as you and I—an incubus, a demon that feeds on human emotions? Could a man fall in love with such a demon, and could the demon love him in return?

Colin Meighan, co-owner of the small but successful gay porn production company Centre Studs is also the company’s biggest star. He sports a pretty exterior, but there’s more to him than meets the eye. Too young to know the full extent of what he is, he has to learn that the world he lives in isn’t what it seems. There are powers at work that exceed everything he’s ever believed in and the lines between nightmare and reality become blurred as he discovers the truth about himself and his gruesome heritage.

Remember, A Nightmare Come True , Book One in the Nightmares Series, releases on October 4th and it is currently available to pre-order at 15% discount only from TEB

Guest Blogger: Ciaran Dwynvil - Wake up to Shine

Hi all,

I'm delighted to welcome the wonderful Ciaran Dwynvil back to my blog! Be warned: reading this blog post will leave you intrigued and make you want to grab at least one book... Oh, and there's a prize to win!

Wake Up to Shine: Behind the Scenes Interview with Rick and Sam
Thank you for having me as your guest, Sage. I'm really excited to be here today to share Wake Up to Shine, a brand new gay BDSM fantasy romance, with you and your readers. But first a little bit of housekeeping: everything in this blog post is intended for adult readers only. If anybody younger than eighteen stumbled upon the article by chance - please don't read further.
For the rest of us, let's go ahead and see what the book is about before we peek behind the scenes.

***
The blurb: "Let a real life dominant pull you into an electrifying gay BDSM fantasy."

Mortal pets create only problems. But if your lover is Belial, the Prince of Trickery, the Lord of Lust and the Antilight, the chances that he will stop growing his collection of playthings are slim. Adhemar knows it, and the only way to win in this situation is to accept a bet that makes his stomach clench.

The stakes are high but so is the prize, and if he plays his cards well, he will show Belial what little allure mortals hold. Then his demon will resign his plays. Adhemar only needs to find two men with zero probability of falling in love with each other.

Charismatic, successful, and handsome music producer Sam Nuada. A bored dominant man cherishing an impossible ideal of an independent submissive. He doesn't do contracts, safe words, and scenes. He isn't clad in leather and despises collaring ceremonies. If he were a king, he would want his first knight. A man who would follow him willingly and at the same time would use his own wits if the situation demands it.

Plain Rick Sherlan whose only alluring trait is his voice. A submissive virgin with a strong desire to please and obey. If Sam were a king, Rick would be happy as his squire, as his servant boy. He would bend over backwards just to hear Sam's satisfied purrs... if he weren't plagued by an unhealthy addiction to seeking the longest, most dangerous, and least effective shortcuts to his goals. But it doesn't matter. He doesn't live a fantasy full of kings, knights, and pages. He lives a fairy tale... about the ugly duckling. Only in his version, the duckling never transforms into a beautiful swan.

But Love is the strangest god, and events set in motion by the bet, a quiet summer night on San Malo beach, an old song sung in a tenor of unearthly beauty, and one intense physical examination unfold in ways Adhemar would never have seen coming.

Sam takes Rick in hand quite literally, and the feedback he provides to his young charge is... rather physical in its nature. Domestic discipline rules, ideals blur, and hearts speak.

And when Adhemar's own past and his longing for the stage kick in, when fascination with the dynamics between the two men creeps up on him, he is no longer so sure he will win the bet. Maybe, just maybe, it would be better to see Rick shine and win the Pop Star contest and Sam's love.

Will he? And what role will Adhemar play in his fate?

***
Intrigued? Then you might enjoy an interview with Rick and Sam. Both have graciously agreed to squeeze it into their admittedly busy schedule, and now are lounging on the comfortable sofa in my writer's den, waiting for me to descend in my armchair. Well, truth to be told: Sam is sprawling, relaxed and self-confident; Rick, though he had lolled around here many an hour, is far more cautious now. He just dislikes interviews, I know. But a bottle of cider standing on the coffee table, as well as the already filled glasses show Sam has taken steps to help him unwind and enjoy the moment.

“It's just a chat,” I smile at the shy star. “And you can always resort to 'No Comment' if I get too nosy.”

Rick snorts with a half-repressed chuckle. “As if that ever works with you,” he complains, but the tension is already melting. His writer... that he can handle, and the press is nowhere to be seen, so he allows himself to loosen up and lean back in the sofa to seek a contact with Sam's body.

Sam tugs him into a light cuddle, draping his arm around him loosely but protectively at the same time. And the simple gesture makes Rick beam a smile that lights his face like autumn sunshine lights the shire. He's beautiful, and I still sometimes doubt he fully realizes it. Fixing his emerald eyes on me, he gives me a small nod to signal he's ready to start, and I coax: “Tell the readers something about your world.”

“Hmm,” he hums, pondering what I might want to hear. “Our world is your world, really. You know London, Paris, San Malo... you've walked their streets,” he offers in the end, unsure what else to say.

“Yes, I have, but some of the readers haven't,” I prompt him to elaborate a bit.

“True. Well, Sam and I spend quite a lot of time in his house in Paris whenever we can, tho we're both from London. Paris is quite unlike other big cities. She's got that French charm around her, and she smells wonderful and awful at the same time. Croissants, coffee, and urine... find that smell anywhere else in the early morning,” he grins. “But... my favorite place really is San Malo. That's where I fell in love.” The confession slips off his lips and though he still looks at me, his fingers twine with Sam's. Locked together like pieces of a puzzle they are, and the image speaks louder than words.

“We'll grab a couple of days for ourselves there before the tourist season starts,” Sam promises quietly, interspersing his words with light nips targeting Rick's earlobe.

Squirming, Rick fights to bottle up giggles, and for once the next question is going to save him. Though only momentarily. “Sam, what do you want the readers to know about you?”

Sam ignores me for a few seconds, happily nibbling away until he elicits the helpless snicker. Only then he lets go of Rick's ear, and turns his attention to me. “You've already told them everything of importance,” his brows climb as he playfully accuses me of indiscretions.

“You know, consorting with a writer...” I let that trail off, and he chuckles. “Gets you written in a book, okay, I get it.” Shaking his head, he volunteers: “My life had been quite empty before I met Rick. So, really, everything important is in the book. That tells our story from the start.”

Rick presses closer to him man, so much in the fire of love that he could set the sofa aflame. But they have to wait a little longer for the private moments. There still are a few questions to go through, but I know I should speed up before they grow impatient. I give a nod of agreement to Sam's answer, and shoot the next question: “What are you proud of?”

The reply comes without a second of hesitation: “Of Rick. Many think he's a born star. And few know how hard he has worked for his success, never giving up however rough things have been on him.”

“Or how tough a manager you are, that they don't know either,” Rick purses his lips in a feigned complaint.

“Kiddo,” Sam warns softly, but we all know it's just a play. Rick apparently wants something from his lover, and is going to get it a little bit later.

I smirk knowingly and get almost imperceptible shrugs in response. Oh yes, we share some bedroom preferences. Which leads me to the next nosy question: “What would you never share?”

“My lover,” they answer in unison, and they mean it. However fond they are of Adhemar's and Belial's company these days, they aren't going to partake in any group sex orgies. Sam's possessiveness prevents any such intentions. And Rick is only glad. His paradise lies behind the door to his and Sam's bedroom, and it's a very private place for both of them. Though... they know they're watched from time to time.

But now we're not about to discuss instances of voyeurism. Instead I ask: “What is your most intense memory?”

Rick closes his eyes to lure the recollection closer, and Sam slowly pulls him into a tighter embrace. Neither of them speaks for long moments. Sam respecting the memory, Rick lost in the past. Only after a while Rick opens his eyes again and his irises shine like precious stones when he says: “Singing my professions of love to Sam, that I will never forget.”

“Neither will I, baby,” Sam murmurs, while his fingers get a gentle hold of Rick's chin to turn his face to him. A second later I witness a slow and tender kiss. I doubt they even know I'm still here, so absorbed they are in claiming each other's mouth.

Well, I can wait, and do... until they pull away from their caress. Only then I ask: “Who is the greatest love of your life?”

Their names twine in the answer, but they don't even look at me. They just gaze into each other's eyes and I have a precious little time to bring our chat to a finish before they start to fidget in a barely concealed need to dispatch me out of my own room, or to take the stairs to the upper story by two.

“Tell me about your best ever kiss,” I prompt, and Rick releases a wistful sigh: “The first one.” For a moment Sam glances at me, a crooked grin plastered on his mouth. “You know all the juicy details, and have our permission to share them. Now if you...”

“Excuse us, I know,” I nod, and stand up. Our today's session is over. The answer to the last question: “Where can the readers meet you again?” is obvious. In Wake Up to Shine. As for me, I can meet them later. Here. But I'd better knock the door.

Now... the kiss Rick spoke about:

***
And before he knew it, he danced. Hesitantly melting into the rhythm and Sam's touches, he let himself be led and guided. And boy, did it feel good. Sighing softly, he closed his eyes and just followed every nudge and hint given to him by Sam's body. It was like flying through the skies, free and protected and... loved.

His breath hitched. He shouldn't allow himself such hopeless dreams. And the hitch promptly turned into a gasp when he suddenly felt a wall behind his back and Sam's lips on his. It was but a mere brush of soft flesh against soft flesh, but it made his knees buckle and his hands cling onto Sam tighter. He wanted this, wanted this, wanted this... and didn't know how to let his Satan know.

“It's alright, baby. I won't hurt you,” caressed his pouts, and he almost gave a sob in return. He was already hurt and in pains of unrequited love. It could hardly be much worse. How could Sam ever love him? They would walk side by side and just everybody would have to shake their heads in disbelief. He was like a donkey paired with an Arabian entire. This would never, never work.

But still his lips opened ajar, inviting Sam's tongue to fondle them. Warm, moist velvet stroked his sensitive skin again and again until he thought he would dissolve under its slow teases. He longed for more. There was something more to be had. Only he didn't know what it was.

A frustrated keen escaped his mouth, and his Lucifer took it as an encouragement. The next second Sam's tongue tapped on the closed gate of his teeth patiently, persuading it to open. A kiss. Rick couldn't believe his senses. He had dreamed of this moment for so many nights. Now it was here, and he didn't know how to react. Craving the caress and fearing it at the same time, he grit his teeth. But soon he learned that while bones were harder than flesh, the gate couldn't resist the gentle assails of the warm ram and let it in with feverish exultation.

Sam's presence sailed into him like a slow inebriation. Bitter sweet oranges. He was drowning in their almost narcotic flavor mixed with the heat of spotlights. His Lucifer tasted like success. Just as heady. Moaning sweetly into the caress, Rick began to suck on Sam's tongue, led purely by his instincts, savoring the caring dominance exercised over him.

Sandalwood, green lemons, and the glamor of fame... Sam's scent fumed up his nose and wiped off everything. The whole world but for the taste of Sam's kiss, the feel of his touches, his sensual smell. Warmth and firmness of Sam's body enclosed him like a prison he didn't wish to escape. Every thrust of his tongue, his fingers tangled in his hair, his thigh wedged between his legs... Rick needed it all. So much that he was almost choking on his desire. It pulsed, it swelled, it filled his mouth, his mind, his soul. It burst in his heart and shred it to bleeding pieces. It would never be whole again. Not after this kiss.

Erotic content: gay spanking, medical kink, enema, anal and oral sex, soap punishment, and an intense orgasm in bondage and silk. You won't believe what can be used as the restraints until you read the story.

And if you read it, you can win another title from my backlist. What you need to do to enter the giveaway? Just answer my question: “What did Sam use as the restraints in the night of bondage and silk?” Send your answer to ciarandwynvil@yahoo.com

The first and the thirtieth person who will send me a correct answer will get another title from the backlist of my Guardian Demon Series. Please include the title of your choice in your e-mail, so that I can send you your copy right away in case your entry wins. The giveaway runs until the 30th of September 2013, and I will contact the winners by e-mail.

You might be wondering if it's needed to read the other titles in the series before opening the pages of Wake Up to Shine. No, it isn't. It can be enjoyed as a stand-alone book, though people who are already familiar with the other titles in Guardian Demon Series will love references to its preceding volumes. In a way, Wake Up to Shine is a free sequel to In Blue Poppy Fields, and it contains also a short reference to Trails of Love I Crawl.

Thanks again for having me and my men over today. It's been a real pleasure to visit you.

Thanks for coming back to visit, Ciaran! It's always a pleasure to have you and your guys on my blog, even if it usually makes me want to spend money and time, lol. ~S

Pre-order: A Nightmare Come True

It's here: A Nightmare Come True, Book One in the Nightmares Series, is now available to pre-order.

This book is brand new, burning hot and available at a 15% discount while on pre-order:

Here's the blurb in case you've managed to miss it:

Release date October 4 / available from distributors November 1
