Cover Reveal - Coach's Challenge (Cayuga Cougars #3)
I suspect some of Victor Kalinski's fans might be a little excited to see this! The beautiful cover for Vic and Dan's new book, Coach's Challenge, releasing 1/10/18. It was wonderful to get to write another story for two of my favorite characters. I hope Cougar fans will enjoy reading this newest tale for Victor and Daniel as much as I did writing it!
There will be no preorders for this book but you can add it to your Want-To-Read list at Goodreads here : Coach's Challenge (Cayuga Cougars #3) at Goodreads

Victor Kalinski and his husband, Dan Arou, are living the dream. Married for over a year now, the couple have settled into life in Cayuga surrounded by friends, family, and a team that’s poised to make another championship run. Each man is enjoying professional success as well as personal bliss. Who knew life in the suburbs with a spouse and a child could be so darn satisfying? Not Vic. K, that’s for sure.
The happy times are about to turn rough, though. The Cougars have picked up a new player, Sander March, a brash young center whose sass, skill, and attitude can rival Victor’s. When it’s revealed that this new player and Dan have history, tensions begin to rise between the newlyweds. As Victor and Dan work on those issues, the one person Victor never thought he would meet arrives in the small New York hamlet and proceeds to flip everything in Vic’s life upside down.
Can Victor and Dan’s marriage withstand what life is about to drop on it, or will the challenges be too much for them to handle?

Tuesday Tales - Picture Prompt
It`s time for Tuesday Tales.

Today we have a snippet from Blueline, my NaNoWriMo MF hockey romance book. In today’s snippet Helen and Bob meet up for coffee but not a date, according to Helen at least.
This week is our picture prompt and all snippets must be 300 words or less. *Wink*
This story may have erotic scenes, strong social issues addressed and mature language. If those things offend now is the time to move onto another Tuesday Tales blog. Thanks for stopping by!

Standing in line for coffee, I spied a beautiful strawberry cake under a glass dome. Chocolate had been drizzled over the white frosting. The top was artfully decorated with brilliant red strawberries with small green leaves of some sort for garnish and color. It was so lovely. And I did love strawberries. “Someday maybe you’ll look at me like you look at that cake.”I tossed a look over my shoulder at Bob. He gave me a wink and then signed a napkin brought to him by a boy of perhaps ten. “You should ask this pretty woman here for her autograph,” Bob said to the young lad with the dark brown eyes. “She’s the leading defenseman for the Venom.”“Oh, that’s girl hockey,” he said and raced back to his father. “I am so sorry for that,” Bob said after the shock wore off. I shrugged. “Trust me, we’re used to it.”“Still, that’s not right at all. You women play just as hard as we guys do. Hell, you’re in the championship and we’re sipping coffee and playing golf.” He sidled up next to me, his arm brushing mine as he lifted a mug from the rack situated beside the baked goods. And the cake. “It’s the way of the world. Women’s sports are always considered inferior to men’s.” A tall man with dreads appeared behind the case holding all the muffins, bagels, and cookies. And the cake. “I’ll just have plain coffee with cream and sugar and a slice of that cake.” I pointed at the heavenly delight under a glass dome. “Same for me,” Bob said. We slid down in line, edging to the register, holding a placard with a wide-eyed coffee bean with the number eight on its midsection.

MM Goodness Book Review - His Convenient Husband by Robin Covington

Amazon
A wonderfully written romance that gives us two men from different backgrounds, an NFL star and a dancer. The two marry to keep Victor, the Chechen dancer, in the US. I really enjoyed the characters, how they grew to know each other, and the bond of Victor with Isaiah’s son.
I understood where Isaiah’s fear of loss came from, being a widower left to raise his adopted son alone. Fear makes people erect walls to protect their heart. I found that part quite realistic. I'm also a fan of diverse romances of all kinds and this one certainly ticked quite a few boxes.
Overall, it’s a great read, filled with warm characters and lots of hot man love.

Tuesday Tales - Prepare
It`s time for Tuesday Tales.

Today we have a snippet from my NaNoWriMo MF hockey romance book, Blueline, Venom #6. In this excerpt Helen and her friends/fellow Venom players are discussing wedding plans, dresses, and a certain Wildcat captain.
Our word prompt today is “Prepare.”
This story may have erotic scenes, strong social issues addressed and mature language. If those things offend now is the time to move onto another Tuesday Tales blog. Thanks for stopping by!

Morning skate was more like morning agony. The coaching staff was pushing us hard and while it was paying off in greater cohesion, overall, it was also kicking our asses. My left knee ached like a bad tooth. It had been iced immediately after skate, and now looked a bit swollen to me. The two previous sprains had weakened it, or so it felt. Maybe that was just my brain trying to get me to favor the twice torn MCL. Still, swelling or not, there was no way I was sitting out this run for the championship. I’d worked too hard, given up too much, to spend time on the bench with an ice bag on my leg. “You up for something fun tomorrow?” Alicia asked after showers were completed. “Like what?” I wiggled around trying to get my bra in place.“Well, I was thinking maybe my bridesmaids could come out to the farm and we’d pick out patterns for your dresses. Since we don’t have a skate.”Oh yeah. The wedding. I cringed a bit internally. I adore our captain and would lay down my body for her on the ice and off. I was also quite fond of my teammates. But it was a known fact that bridesmaid dresses were generally ugly. And I did not need yards of ugly hanging off me. It was hard enough finding clothes that fit me properly and were somewhat fashionable. “That would be incredible!” Kate wiggled around me, beaming, hair still soaking wet. “I love your goats! Oh! Can I bring Bobby?”“No,” I said but Kate just ran right over me. “He loves goats too! And bees. Well, not so much bees. They kind of make him swell up and die, but he likes honey!” She paused. I tried to slip another ‘NO!” into the upcoming ramble but was too slow and bulky. Story of my life. “Maybe it was Mama who liked honey but not bee stings. Well, no matter! He can help Dale do farm work while we talk about dresses. I like geese too. They’re funny. One time I had this goose down pillow that was super soft, but sometimes the feathers escaped and would float around the room. Oh! There’s my phone. I bet it’s Bobby. I’ll tell him about tomorrow on the farm! Thanks for inviting us!”Off she ran. Alicia smiled up at me. “I always feel like Dorothy Gale after her ride in the twister when I’m done talking with Kate.”“That describes it pretty accurately. So, what color are these dresses going to be?” Please do not say pink. A woman my size in pink taffeta is not a pretty sight. “Colors that will please the goddess,” Alicia dreamily replied then went off to meditate or align her chakras. That was helpful. Not at all. I was not prepared for this. I went to the bus, wiggled myself across two seats, using one to keep my leg straight, plunked my ice bag onto my knee, and dug out my phone. Maybe I could get back into movie the on the way home. A sharp rap on the window behind me made me jump. I craned my head to look over my shoulder. There on the other side of the window, stood Bobby. Smiling and waving. Probably I should give him the cold shoulder, but that white rose in my bag had softened my brain or something. Instead of cutting him down as I normally did, I waved two fingers at him. His smile broke into a grin which kind of did odd and tingly things to my stomach. “Aw, look at his love-sick face.” I threw a dark look at Karrie peeking at me over the back of her seat. “Why aren’t you in the back stirring shit up?”She gave me a sassy wink. “It’s more fun stirring you up.”

MM Goodness Book Review - Heroes Trilogy by RJ Scott

Oh goodness, what a threesome! I’m not sure I could pick a favorite out of them, each one is a gripping, powerful, sexy story with compelling leading men. I'm partial to Sam from Last Marine Standing, but all of six leads are just fabulous.
The action and adventure kept me on the edge of my seat through each book. The pacing is flawless, the dialog crisp, and the romance…oh me and oh my, the romance! Each couple is unique and flawed. The sexual energy fills the air as these men learn to love and trust. The sex scenes are hot, hot, hot yet always maintain the tender touch of true love.
If you’re a reader of MM Action/Adventure, then you really must get these three books in your library.

Tuesday Tales - Ghost
Happy Halloween! It`s time for Tuesday Tales.

Today we have a snippet from my current MM hockey romance book, Lost in Indigo. In this excerpt Mat and Indigo discuss the old ghost rumored to haunt Mat’s home.
Our word prompt today is “Ghost.”

“Did you know that old bitchy nurse won’t let me come into visit you because she says, ‘I’ll contaminate the area’ like I was some gross germ-bag.” He sat down beside me on the bed, his slight weight barely making the firm mattress sag. He wrapped his arms around his long legs, tucking his thighs into his chest. The sight of his calves made me yearn for something. Something like touching the soft dark hair peppering his legs. My gaze moved over slim ankles to his bare feet. His toes were long, nicely-tended, and dirty. “Maybe she thinks your grimy feet will rub off on the sheets.” I pointed at his toes. “I just came out of the flower beds around the western side of the house.” That would explain the fresh dirt between his toes and the glow of sun still lingering on his skin. “I’m revamping them.”I wiggled up a little higher, the blurriness inside my head slowly disappearing. “All of them?”He nodded, sending some stray strands of hair into his eyes. “You said I could do whatever I wanted. They were too formal for the feel of this house.” His dark eyes went round then. “Did you know that there’s this old gay ghost roaming the place?”That made me chuckle. “I own the place, so yes, I’ve heard that rumor.”“Have you seen him?” He pulled his legs closer to his chest, his dirty feet making marks on the crisp, white sheets. Nurse would shit herself in rage when she saw the freshly made bed. “Did he really die while fucking his young lover?”“That’s what I’ve been told. When Fran visits, you should ask her. She’s the one who knows all the dirty tales on both sides of the river. We passed her island. It’s the one right before mine.”Indigo laughed. A gentle breeze swept into the den, tickling the sheer curtains and carrying the aroma of river, flowers, and Indigo to me. I breathed deeply. It was hard to decide which scent was the best. “Dirty tales rock. Oh! So, tell me what kind of flowers you like.” The breeze touched his hair, ruffling it and lifting more smell from him. “The kind that they use to make your shampoo.” He blinked. I felt stupid instantly. He stared at me for a long, long time. I began to feel hot under the skin. “My shampoo is a mix of honeysuckle, gardenia, and jasmine. Same as my body wash. They come in a kit.” He tipped his head to the right. The move made him look flirty like a woman. There’s a word for it, for that kind of look. Kittenish? Coy? I didn’t know but there was something hot and knowing in his gaze. “Okay, jasmine flowers. Plant them.” God above, let that ease me out of this awkward situation.

Everyone needs rules to live by, but are they worth giving up your one shot at love?
Luc didn’t mean to fall for his teammate’s little sister. He had no intention of breaking the guy code: sisters were strictly off limits. Luc knew that breaking the rule could not only destroy a friendship but derail his career. And he didn’t think her brother was bluffing.
As soon as Luc found out the gorgeous brunette he’d been eyeing turned out to be his goalie’s sister, he hit the brakes. But then she said those four little words: I don’t date athletes.
Challenge accepted.
