Make iT at the Library Training Session
Earlier this month, a few MAKE staffers ventured to Boise, Idaho in response to an invitation to meet with librarians from across the state and to lead an afternoon training session for the pilot project, Make iT at the Library. The project focused on supporting the creation of five makerspaces in libraries.

High School Students Launch Satellite With NASA
Brace yourselves, history's first high school-built satellite is set for launch! At 7:30PM ET today, TJ3Sat (pronounced TJ-cube-sat) will launch from the Wallops Flight Facility alongside 27 other satellites. Our small, 10cm x 10cm x 11cm satellite will orbit the Earth at 500km and will function as an educational tool for schools and the general public worldwide.

DIY Hacks & How To’s: Articulated Camera Stand
A tripod is the most common way to stabilize a camera. But there are a few situations where a regular tripod is very impractical. In this project, I show you how to make a small table top articulated camera stand from a desk lamp and a few piece of scrap wood. This lets you get pictures from any height and just about any angle. Its a great tool for documenting your DIY projects.
