Reviews:
I wish I had access to this book ten years ago. It would have saved a lot of heart ache and wrong desicions. I would advise anyone going through this to grab the book now.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you think your spouse is having an affair, you need to read this book. It is a practical guide with real advice. By real, I mean that the advice given will actually work. There are some other guides out there that have advice that sounds good but it doesn't work. It is all just theory.

This guide tells you what to look out for. It talks about how to investigate and get to the truth. Then it helps you set up everything you need to confront your spouse. Definitely a book worth reading for anyone who thinks something funny is going on.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This book is very empowering. It takes an out-of-control situation, makes you take a deep breath and gives you lots of steps to take to regain the control you need to get through and deal with the problem. All the advice is practical as the title promises. This really is a must read book for anyone who finds themself in this horrible situation, but ideally it should be read before you say anything to your spouse.

Motivation (or lack thereof)

Picture Motivation. It's what we all possess at some point or another to complete a task at hand. As of late I have had a complete lack of it. I have no motivation for social media and no idea what to talk about either. No one wants to hear about my boring life not even me.

By nature I am a mostly anti-social person but in order to promote my novel I have to make nice and play along. I'm not that great at it. I only have a few close friends in "real life" and I've had them since school. I'm not good at making new ones.

It is this inherent lack of motivation to make new friends that has left me feeling jaded at the whole social media experience. I have a few people I converse with on a regular basis but they all reside six hours time difference away (or more) thus making regular communication difficult and even then most of the time it's just a few comments on blogs and some messages back and forth on Goodreads. I tell you I'm not cut out for this stuff.

I try, I really do but my brain is tired. I haven't had this much contact with social groups since high school and it wasn't fun then either. Socially awkward would be a  good description for me. I'm a better listener than talker really unless I know you really, really well. Tell me about you all day long, just don't expect much in return. I've tried to change that as of late but I feel I'm failing miserably at it.

Anyone else have this problem?

Picture Description:
Society beauty Clarissa Roseville rules the glittering world of Regency London easily enough, but she would rather rule a kingdom.  Eager for a royal match, the spoiled, willful girl has no time for two of her admirers, the soulful, enigmatic Nicholas and the lustful intriguer Augustine, brothers with a background as obscure as it is mysterious.

And now, the sorcerer Augustine can glut his thirst for her lovely body, and use her to gain control over her lovers' minds.  Together, they can rule an empire of enslaved souls.  Only one obstacle stands between them and conquest - his own brother.

Armed with only his uncanny sensitivity, Nicholas matches wits with the dark forces gathering around them all.  But how can he hope to save a woman given a thousand rich temptations in exchange for her soul?

Finding Reviewers

Picture Finding people to review your book is a lot like throwing a goldfish into a tank with hungry piranhas.

Here you are, the innocent little goldfish, and they, the ravenous piranhas, hold your future in their hands (or fins). If they hate your book, you're eaten, if they love it, you're spared.  (Although on occasion you will actually find a reviewer that will help you fix the problems in your book instead of just saying it sucked.)

The torturous part is waiting for said review, as you're dangled above the tank for an agonizingly long time. In the end, we as authors need reviews. Rarely will a person buy a book that has zero reviews. People are just weird like that, myself included.

I'm wondering what people did before customer reviews. Not to long ago you went into a store and bought something because you thought you might like it. Now you research it on the internet, reading each review before making any decisions. I can't decide if this is a good or bad thing.

Sometimes you get the occasional disgruntled customer that wants nothing more than to torpedo a store because they had a bad personal experience and other times you get spies for the store leaving fake reviews. It's a dog eat dog world out there, or in this case fish eat fish.

It seems everyone has an opinion these days and to make it in the new review saturated world you have to get some of your own. Ugh.

Chains that bind the soul are stronger than iron…

One step ahead of demonic slavemasters, Leitos flees across a sun-scorched realm littered with the relics of mankind’s destruction. No matter which way he turns, enemies stalk the shadows clad in fiendish flesh, or hunt in plain sight wearing the faces of men.

Thrust into a world his slave’s eyes have never seen, Leitos struggles to heed his dying grandfather’s command: “Run and hide. Find the Crown of the Setting Sun beyond the Mountains of Fire, and there seek out the Brothers of the Crimson Shield.” Such are the words of a madman … yet they are his only hope.

Picture Description:
In "Reasons to Live in Nebraska", you'll find seven little stories of love and loss, tragedy and triumph, hope and despair set in a wide open country. These stories come from fictional small towns where Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska come together on the high plains. They are stark tales like the country from which they spring yet show a richer intricacy--a deeper intimacy--for those who care to stop and have a look, to slow down while passing through, and maybe even sit back and stay for an hour or two. Like the second story in the collection, titled "Where You Have Been, Where You Are Going" (originally published in the "The Prairie Schooner" from the University of Nebraska Press and anthologized in Best of the West 2), somehow all the stories manage to be about finding one's way home.

Picture Description:
37 Action-packed Pulse Pounding Tales!

That’s exactly what you get in this collection of action stories from top thriller authors Stephen Leather, Matt Hilton, Zoë Sharp, Adrian Magson, Steven Savile and many more, including stories from exciting up-and-comers.
Think back to the days when heroes were heroes and the action was furious and full-blooded. When often as not, the hero was quite the opposite: an anti-hero - but he needed to be, to bring the kind of violent justice to villains worse than him. When political correctness took a back seat, even as the bullets and karate chops were flying. Basically it was good old harmless fun. It was a case of disengaging your moral compass and getting down with the hero as they took on all comers, and they did it with balletic grace and uncompromising violence. Gratuitous? Mostly. Realistic? Not always. Great fun? You betcha!!!
Then fast forward to the here and now: What if the current action and thriller authors set their minds to bringing back the action genres of old?
Well, that question is answered here.
Within these pages you will find secret agents, vigilantes (both just and insane), cops, villains, soldiers, veterans, gangsters, swordsmen, privateers, Ninja and even a crypto-zoological beast you might recognise. Some of the tales are delivered with shocking realism, some as lighter entertainment, some on the grittier side, but each and every tale included in Action: Pulse Pounding Tales Volume 1 is sure to get your heart racing.

Kick back and enjoy the ride! Picture Description:
Hello, and welcome to my little collection of poems. If you are expecting poems about hearts and flowers you will be disappointed, sorry. Most are a little hard edged; there are also a couple of tribute poems as well. I am primarily a writer of stories but in times of the infamous writers block I sat down and scribbled off a few poems, which is what you have here between these electronic pages.
Some are influenced by events in the news or songs I had heard. So if you enjoy new poetry give it a try and buy, you will not be disappointed. At the end of the book I have included one of my stories for your enjoyment. Any way I hope you enjoy what is within these electronic pages and maybe tell people about my little book, enjoy. Do not forget to give me a review if you like the book. Picture Description:
From the land of the rising sun to America in 1865, comes the Ninja warrior Chihiro Kitagawa, on the trail of a renagade Ninja. Also see him smite a religious maniac and take on a family of cannibals in order to save a friend from becoming lunch. This trio of stories is a wild rollercoaster ride of adventure, thrills, spills and kills.
The story in the title of this book first appeared in a book compiled and edited by Matt Hilton, author of the Joe Hunter novels, titled Action: Pulse Pounding Tales Vol 1. It featured a character named Chihiro Kitagawa; he is a Ninja warrior from Japan. Because of the premise of the book was a harkening back to the days of the pulp action thrillers of the seventies and eighties, The Mack Bolan books by Don Pendelton and the Destroyer series by Warren Smith and Richard Sapir to name a couple. I thought back to those days and what stood out in my mind was not only the books but it was also when I first encounted the spaghetti westerns, A Fist Full of Dollars, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, My Name is Nobody and also the TV series Kung Fu. So I decided to combine all the elements and add the twist of a Ninja warrior and dump him into the old west. Picture Author Website:
