No Such Thing as Perfect
In the interest of not shocking people a second time, I will formally announce that I have finished a rough draft of a novel titled No Such Thing as Perfect. It is geared towards girls in approximately fifth grade, specifically my own daughter, Gabrielle. I do not know if I will publish it for anyone beyond her, but I still feel good about accomplishing it. Think of it as my version of sewing her some doll clothes or knitting her a blanket. This is something that I have created for her. Up until now, she was the only one who knew I was working on it and I can not wait for her opinion on it. Parts of it were more difficult than I expected it to be. It is one thing to come up with a story, it is quite another to dig deep down and remember those rules of grammer for dialog and 3rd person story telling. If anyone else is interested in reading it, I would be happy to have proofreaders.
