The Struggles Only People Who Live With Their Siblings Can Understand

We've already discussed it on Candymag.com a lot of times. Yes, the going gets tough sometimes when you have a brother, a sister, or both. You have instant friends, yes. But you also have automatic enemies, especially during certain situations. So during the #CandyFair2015, we just had to ask two of our Candy Cuties on what their struggles are since they live with their siblings. Hear it from Andre Paras and Arkin Magalona below. Even they would agree that it gets tough sometimes when you grow up with siblings.

The First Lady of the United States Has Advice For Teens Everywhere

We don't blame you. Figuring out how to talk to that cute boy in class can sometimes seem like a major concern. But after watching the First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama drop the mic in this panel, you might want to rethink your #girlproblems.

So the next time you think of ditching your study session for a date, remember these very wise words from FLOTUS. "If I had worried about who liked me and who thought I was cute when I was your age, I wouldn't be married to the President of the United States today." *drop the mic*

From Our Readers: To the Boy Who I Thought Needed Me

To the Boy Who I Thought Needed Me

It's been awhile. Really. It has been 2 months, 16 days, and still counting since we last talked. I wanted to ask you if you're doing well, if you still have problems with your mother or if you're excited to start your new year with a new university. But I cannot, because I am not the girl you see in the movies. I am not the girl who goes after the guy who left me clueless and asks for answers because when I let go, I try to really let go. I am not that persistent, and I do not show off my feelings because truth to be told, I can't. I'm afraid of rejection, and I'm scared that I was the only one who felt special in our little "extraordinary" relationship. I'm terrified that I was one of the girls who fell for your charms, while you just played around and soon left me when you got bored.

5 Things You Missed Today (October 2)

MTV Europe Music Awards 2015 host Ed Sheeran (he's hosting with Ruby Rose, ICYDK yet!) revealed recently when he released his track "Lay It All On Me" with Rudimental that he'll be taking the time off starting January 1, 2016. After two albums and a lot of flying here and there for his live performances, Teddy expressed his need to stay away from his iPhone for a while. "My plan is to get rid of my iPhone, get rid of internet, get a Nokia 3310 and just go off into the wilderness somewhere for a bit. Even if it's just a month without contact with other people," he said. "I've got to a point where I just don't want to do that anymore and that's my life and my career. But when I'm in my time off and I don't have to do it, I'm just going to get rid of it." Aww, we're going to miss you, Ed, but we also know you deserve to have time for yourself.  (via MTV.com)

You just don't know how happy we are that The Hunger Games trio, Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth, have already started doing interviews as the premiere for Mockingjay Part 2 draws nearer. From Our Readers: When You Meet Your One Great Love

When You Meet Your One Great Love

I came here a mess. I didn't believe that I could ever be happy again. I flew 4,000 miles away to get away from pain and repressed memories.

You and I lived two different worlds. I defined you as a reckless kid. You were a senior and I was a sophomore that year. You were in the last section of classes, and I was at the first. You broke rules, came to school late. You were one of those guys who were too arrogant to even approach. But I never noticed you.

10 Books That Will Make You Want to Believe in Forever

Very few people actually believe that love can last forever. We can't blame them because it's something that's hard to understand and comprehend because technically, forever doesn't exist for the human race. No person that exists, has existed, and will exist, can live forever to love. There is no immortality for us.

So the question is: If there is no forever for us, can it still exist? It not only can, but it does. It's something rare and difficult, sometimes even impossible to achieve. Why? Well, it takes up so much effort, time, and emotions to even come close to this ideal kind of love. It is the kind of love that is built with sincerity, fierce loyalty, and commitment. With these three key elements,  love will not only be enough for you and your beloved–your love for one another will be so great that it will impact other people's lives, thus creating an infinite ripple of this rare love. It's a kind of love that is so difficult to be put into words but people still try to do. Miraculously, some do succeed.

From Our Readers: To the Alex to My Rosie

To the Alex to My Rosie

To My Own Alex,

I still remember when it all started. I was heartbroken because of the guy I love most. A one-month relationship with my very first boyfriend wasn't just a joke for me. I spent months crying, and crying, I was even on the verge of self-harming. And that's when it all started.

We weren't friends at first really; we were just batch mates. That's all. But you started talking to me and helped me stop self-harming. We became really, really close and spent time with each other. That's when I realized that I'm so lucky that you chose to help me. Me. You're the heartthrob of our school, amazing football player. You're good-looking and funny, which makes all the girls drool over you. You're really popular, but you chose to spend your time helping me.
